why not add, animals but their only both sentient/non sentient act real world personality/behavior but human of pokemon world, not act like real world human.
Hey man I love your video and I love pokemon of each type and I would love to see Rayquaza in with every type
make cubone of every type
You should do a mewtwo of every type
I have this game
I now want a Pokémon game in an ancient setting with all the fossil Mon or at least a Jurassic park like area that’s similar to the safari zone but it’s fossil mon
they wouldn't be fossils then but yeah, they should have done that in Legends Arceus.
Pokeballs whoudnt exist tho.
@@draw2death421 They could have acorn balls like silver did.
Maybe a mission in future pokemon game, like how Legends had missions, but make it similar to the Digimon Cyber Sleuth games and make it so it makes you do the missions for the story to continue
@@seich-of-lacan-getter514 that would be cool
the electric type was insanely cool but nothing could've prepared me for the fairy type. Bravo, this is the type of creativity i miss in most mons nowadays
He forgot dracozolt and arctozolt
@@thannielol4988 3:12 he said he wasn’t gonna do the ones without rock typings
That last one is definitely my favorite. It’s perfect. But anyways, I had an idea of a fighting velociraptor, who would have two concepts. One, a coat of feathers resembling marcial art clothing, but being a lot more subtle than say Throh and Sawk. Tans two, it would have a sickle claw on its food made of rock that it would use as a weapon. These would merge to make it a fighter that uses powerful kicks as it’s main fighting style, being the first fighter, with mons like Hitmonlee being essentially spiritual successors, even if they’re not related.
I just realized how much autocorrect screwed the message. I meant foot not food lol
That’s a great idea lol
The Elegoop line being infused with tar is basically the same reason all the other fossilmons are rock, right?
I love all of these can could see all of them in the game except maybe Stegoleum.... I always liked the idea of a fossil-ghost pokemon that acts more like Rotom, where its a ghost of a dinosaur processing its own fossils...
The fairy mons are perfect, though.
That’s what I like about subjectively’s fossils they have reasons to be rock type
Not for nothing, but the only fossil Pokemon confirmed to have been messed with are also the only ones that aren't rock type.
Also Relicanth exists.
@@antitheist3206 And it's based on the Coelocanth that still lives today over in the Indian Sea.
The first couple looked like actual Pokémon! That artists needs to be hired like a few years ago.
The saber tooth tiger was my favorite though. I’ve wanted one for so long!
I concur. Smilodon Pokemon when?! Give it to me, Gamefreak!
I love the Smilodon Pokemon.
@@opusmagnus26I think Raikou isn't a dog. It looks like a saber tooth tiger. So, they did a legendary one.
@@jeremythetiger7095 I think that’s as close as we had gotten.
I’m not a fan of the design of the new one but I haven’t used it yet so it may grow on me.
I’ll stay hopeful that we get a super cool beastly saber tooth tiger that is without question a monstrous saber tooth tiger!
I love how these designs use the parts that make different dinosaurs unique to represent their power or element. Like Parasong and it's headcrest/flute
To those playing Xenoverse, take the Space Fossil over the Print Fossil which gives you Troglolith. The result is 10x more amazing, and truly unique for fossil pokemon.
I was about to comment that the normal fossil was from xenoverse
Also the space fossil is awesome
Gotta get that first like! Fossil Pokémon are genuinely my favourite trope in the games, makes it even sadder that Alola and Johto didn't have any new ones. Congrats on the sponsor as well!
Hey scarab what's your favourite fossil pokemon
Johto I understand why they didn’t make new fossils because well it’s just kanto again but Alola had no excuse!
I like the dark type one, because i like the smilodon, also known as the sabertooth tiger
@@gameswithpeachcord7498 since its mostly islands they could be "newer" (as in after dinos went extinct but a LONG time ago) or the fossils were in the ocean, or too deep for people to find maybe, or not suitable for animals (like maybe it was way too small or barren for most animals to survive and the ones who did didnt have bones to be fossilized, like bugs)
Alola is just an island in reference not quite an area for one.but at least kang moo-oo looks like dinosaur
Hadarina is absolutely adorable, it's just so cute and simple but yet the colors suits it's type and design really well! The evolution is pretty too and I always dreamed to see my favorite dinosaur as a pokemon! So definitely the fairy fossil is my favorite!
One idea I once thought of for an electric type Pokémon is one based on the first rodent that is implied to have evolved into all the electric rodents.
I for one can't wait until my favorite dinosaur, Ankylosaurus, becomes a fossil mon. I personally envision it as a rock-steel type with speed worse than a snorlax, complete garbage special attack, descent special defense, and phenomenal attack and physical defense
So like Bastiodon but with both high attack and defense?
@@Agent-Ig basically
There is Avalugg.
---I wonder. Do Pokemon that evolve with Ancient Power count as "Fossil" or at least pre-historic? Tangrowth, Yanmega, Mamoswine...?
And then there is Relicanth, too, that is pretty much a Coelacanth...
I guess prehistoric.
Relicanth could also be in the middle of fossil and normal Pokemon since coelacanths are considered "living fossils".
this is just the weirdest video of the month
Pyukumuku, a wiwaxia
4:51 I really like these, the concept makes a ton of sense as scientists theorize these dinosaur's crests were used to increase their vocal abilities
I think a good extinct animal to have a psychic type pokemon based off of it would be the Tully Monster, it's so alien like that it would have to be psychic type.
That's a great idea!
Id so have the Spino, Kapro and Stego as my Dinomon, the ideas are very well thought out from their creators with type elements and looks, hope to see more Dinomon videos in the future
Wait, this fr?
@@blutbadmccarthy1351 DONT
Rockapye and trogolith are a great unique interpretation of fossil
you can use them in pokemon xenoverse a fan made game
@@wariogab yep, I used one on my team and swept the Ring Master
rock *apye*
A P E
I'm going to be disappointed if we don't get Pokemon akin to the Rockapye line for Scarlet and a robotic/cybernetic counterpart to it for Violet. Imagine this for DLC for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet: visiting the past to come across the last of the missing links between the human species and Pokemon while a trip to the future results in the finding of a mysterious future Pokemon that was once a part of a whole species that was planned to be the next step for Pokemon and Humanity alike, but were ultimately scrapped until one was left behind roaming a future where it was the last of its production line.
The males rock is a POKEBAL I love that detail that humans were already creating pokebals before evolving
I really really really like the fairy type one! I love hadrosaurs, with my second favorite being Parasauralophus. Why can't official games be made using fakemon like this? It would have the added effect of acknowledging the talent of the artists who created them as well as being amazing
EDIT: I also really really like the ghost entry. Amazing artwork and reference!
I think a good fossil mon would be a regional pikachu clone of a Phoberomys pattersoni, basically a huge Capybara.
There is a fossil pika clone from wesco
My fire type fossil would have been based on the Stegasaurous, due to the misconception that these dinosaurs used the plates on it's back to absorb heat from the sun. It'd have a special ability that increased it's speed and special attack while the sun was up, like Chirubi.
The Spinosorid family were apex aquatic predators, so a Spino electric type makes a bit more sense, but fire Spinos are still cool. And yes, you read that right, Spinosaurus is part of an entire family that shares its name; in fact, a new species of Spinosorid was announced to have been identified in Portugal just a short time before this past Pokemon Day, let that sink in for a bit.
Let that sink in? That just makes me feel let down because it means it's too late to make it into the game.
@@BJGvideos Pokemon for a region are decided so far ahead of things, that they were likely all set before February, which was well in advance of that announcement. Best we can probably hope for is the Spino Pokemon shows up as a new addition in Scarlet and Violet DLC.
@@dracone4370 Yes that was my entire point.
@@BJGvideos sadly, that means quite a few missed opportunities
@@dracone4370 Yeah I know. That's what I was saying.
Amazing video! I loved all the fossils you selected for each type
I have been a Dino nerd for years, since I was 3 even. But this was a fantastic vid for both pokemon and the prehistoric times. All had great reasons to be the typing and the creature they were inspired by.
The fact that there is a Fire Spinosaurus makes my day. My favorite dinosaur!!!
9:58 idk why I kinda feel like this looks like a dark rock type or fire rock it’s looks sick!
4:46 and 5:20
The Fairy and Fighting fossils?? I NEEED in the games!!
Holy crap those designs are way too good to not be real!
As someone who studies prehistoric life, I'd say that these look very nice and accurate to what they're based on but with their own spin on the species. Except for the Spinosaurus. I get that these are Pokemon and aren't supposed to be fully accurate, but the fact it looks like it belongs in a desert really bugs me. But no the less, these all are beautiful!
(Hopefully you know that every dinosaur in Jurassic park/Jurassic world are highly inaccurate)
I could go on for hours about dinosaurs, but I don't think any of the few people to see this comment would wanna hear my rambles. (My favorite ones in this has to be Hatterina and Parasong)
Dude the fire and ghost, then the triceratops ones were amazing. Their designs were well thought out and had incredible detail.
I really liked the electric, fairy, ghost, ground, and dark fossils
Electric = leg fossil, fairy = crest fossil, fighting = nose fossil, fire = dorsal fossil, psychic = tail orb fossil, normal = hand fossil, ground = mask fossil, poison = tared fur, dark = saber tooth fossil, ghost = plate fossil
I was looking forward to seeing what a fairy type fossil mon would look like, and it did not disappoint! Loved Hadarina’s design and idea
I love while u explain the pokemon u can't control the urge to remember 90s shows
I always found it kinda weird that galar removed the rock typing from their fossil mons. Made for more unique typings, but also abominations that probably don't deserve to be as powerful as they are, i.e. Dracovish
Pokémon but wit DINOSAURS!!! 🦕
OH MY GAAAAAAAWD! I love the Tartusk line!! I want a muddy elephant for myself!!!
The psychic one scares me... *it's seen some sh+t*
Yeeeees!
Spinosaurus lover here, and I have to say that the tail is actually accurate! Big props!
Love this!! This is waay niche but I would love to see some fossil ultrabeasts based on precambric beings, they are sooo weird they look like aliens out of this world
Tricerachop... SO ADORABLE!!! 🤣
I love your power rangers reference in this 😂 my guy is a nerd through and through and I love to see it!
I have no favorite because they are all AWESOME. I love the creativity that people put into these guys. Tyrantrum will always be my favorite though. All Hail the King!
I love Stegoleum, it's giving me gen 1 creepy edgy ghost-type vibes. Tell me you wouldn't be terrified if you found that thing in the Lavender Tower.
I love fossil Pokemon, but the Rock typing is a massive handicap. It really needs a buff considering it's weaknesses are all top tier and common types and offensively it has by far the most unreliable and limited movepool in the game

“Revived from their ancient slumber”
“Ancient slumber”
*T H E Y L I T E R A L L Y D I E D*
I just got an idea after watching this video. I might actually implement it into my own Pokemon region. What if the regional fossil Pokemon is also the pseudo legendary. This actually sounds really fun.
Troglolith’s different gendered forms make it look like each one would have different abilities based on the “hunter gatherer” lifestyle they definitely would’ve had. Troglolith male looks like it would have the “hunter” ability, boosting fighting type moves power along with their attack stat where Troglolith female would have the “gatherer” ability, boosting the power of grass type attacks along with their special attack stat.
Would LOVE a megalodon, mosasaur, or baryonyx fossil mon. And it's a shame Alola didn't have any fossil mon.
10:29 You are not a tomb you are the entire graveyard.
I love when you can clearly imagine what moves these Pokémon can use. Like you can clearly know Parasomg will know Disarming Voice, Sing, etc.
A fun idea would be a fire-rock fossil Pokemon, due to the fire it could be igneous rock. No clue what dino/ prehistoric creature it should be though
Could be any really as that has a wide range
Pyropraptor because it has the word "Pyro" In its name
the troglolith line is actually in a fangame already, it's called pokemon xenoverse 100% recommended
I love this for two reasons 1:I LOVE POKÉMON FOSSILS 2:I LOVE DINOSAURS you know that I wish that subjectively fariy time fossil made in this vid but its fine
Thank you I’m a big fan of fossil Pokémon actually every Pokémon
I remember I had an idea about a tar pokemon where you give it a fossil and I'll get like a body part of that pokemon plus an sengeture move like giving it old amber for aerodatyo wings and such.
Ok but all these base babies? CUTE AS F. ALSO AHAHAHAHA THE POWER RANGER REFERENCE OMG. I really, REALLY Hope Pokémon Co. and Nintendo take note of some of these for future fossil 'mons. These are all INCREDIBLE. Especially the Ghost and Fairy line. OMG.
In my opinion the ghost type should just be a non revived fossil
I think Dreepy And Dragapult is Base from Diplolucus (the Amphibia One Not Sauropod)
It's amazing how this came out since I'm creating my own fakemon based around dinosaurs
Ghost types were my favorite. I love the concept.
In my Australia region i made a grass type that I absolutely love. It comes from the fossilised mushroom and turns into shroomboom a grass poison type stegosaurus. Basically it sporadically explodes when it is scared, happy, exited or a friendship syombl( by the way it looks high) Also people might say stegosaurus are not Australian, well Tyrannosaurus rex are not French
Edit: I just watched the vid and now i can forget the words “it may have been a grass type” poor shroomboom turned into a gravestone literally
I absolutely love the detail and designs of eaxh of these and that they aren't ONLY dinosaurs. Awesome
Brandon never disappoints
The pokemon community can come up with some great ideas and designs for Pokemon it's insane.
Video starts at 3:51. Christ.
8:32 Imagine that thing sprinting at you on 2 legs
This is a video very close to my nerdy little heart as a lifelong lover of dinosaurs and follower of Pokemon from the time the original games were released
My resurrected pokemon concept:
Drilodon and Hammaston
These two are rock and ground types.
Drilodon is resurrected from CG's theory fossil.
Drilodon was created from multiple parts of two fossils that were put together the wrong way, causing it to have two heads, one of which has a long neck. It uses the smilodon-like head's neck and the mammoth-lile head's trunk as sort of makeshift arms and using the smilodon-like head as a weapon due to it's long rotating fangs.
Hammastodon has evolved it's trunk for it's use as a sort of arm, it's five newly developed fingers can also fold into the shape of a hammer head. It has this unusual habit of carving symbols into rocks.
Funfact: Trogolith ist one of the Fossilmon in Xenoverse. So you can use it in a brilliant Fangame.
Spriggatito should evolve like mountigre but grass and a mid stage evo
Even if it doesn't Spriggatito needs to stay on all fours, it's starts that why so it should stay that way.
Zaptor is the cutest lil’ guy and a killer name!
All those are amazing and awesome and I love the Power Ranger Sabertooth tiger part but I do Wonder how each other fossil item would look like I would love to see that
I love the fire type line, it brings back memories from my childhood.
Oh man. As a dinosaur nerd sometimes, I am a big fan of all of the fossil fanmade Pokémon. Especially tricerachops.
@Text Me On Telegram @PragMagik what
I liked the first two. I liked the fire one
I was kinda hoping that the poison one would be a Dilophosaur but the tar reasoning makes some sense.
Alterodile could be used as a paradox form for krookorok
Bros predicted Paradox pokemon before they were even a thing
that trogolith concept is the most creative thing ive seen in a while!!!
These are all really cool and would work well as actually Pokémon 👍
jw alive is actually prtty good
I love that I have seen so many of these that most aren’t even their own designs they all use each other’s Pokémon to make their Pokémon
Fun fact, dimetrodon is not actually a dinosaur. It’s more related to mammals than birds or lizards. 6:02
Edit: spinosaurus is a dinosaur though
Most of the time i just skip over sponsors, but today i decided to at least check what the sponsor was. Jurassic World Alive, is one of my favourite games now! THX for showing it to me❤️
The Fact that the “Spinozier” is decently accurate to an actual *Spinosaurus Aegyptiacus* puts a Smile on my Face, especially the little Crest and the Paddle Tail.
“Each based on a prehistoric creature in real life” *laughs in galar fossils
I was excited for the fire type and wasn't disappointed, but Stegoliath was siiick looking.
Ngl, the first three featured fossils have a great design and backstory/description.
Man predicted Paradox forms with that sandile
10:15 Tombstone Pizza? That must be The Undertaker’s favorite pizza brand.
yes
Stegolium also takes it's name from a type of crypt known as a mausoleum! I love it! It's kinda like a proto cubone/ marowak!
The timbur joke was gold
Jurassic alive is like dragon city
Love your Pokemon videos and creativity to also work with other artists.
I've made some Fossil Fakemon in the past. Some of which I've aspired to re-make and update.
So far my personal favourites include:
Scorocean, a poison type, based on Sea Scorpions.
Helicorpse, a ghost type, based on the ancient shark Helicoprion.
Parascorch, a fire type, based on the Parasaurolophus.
And Dinosaw, a steel type, based on the Dimetrodon.
As a long time player of JWA, I should warn new players that it's a lot of grind
Oooh I love the scientific accuracy in these
i like fire,fighting,electric,ghost type
@Nintendo !!!
Hire this man!!!
This man knows his fossil knowledge!!!
the unmixed fossil forms of galarian pokemon probably had a rock typing before revived as Frankenstein monsters, but got cancelled out due to the double rock typing
My personal idea for a dark fossil type is a Megatherium, which is a giant ground sloth.
Therrible, the Scare Pokemon
Therrible are taught from birth to appear as scary as possible to ward off possible predators.
Fearium, the Threat Pokemon
Fearium have dark fur that lets them blend into shadows very easily. They tend to appear incredibly threatening to ward off predators.
Obviously the Sabretooth kitties!!! Fave.
9:10 so I'm making a new Pokemon region and I added the typing oil so a Pokemon like that would be perfect with it
Oh my goodness Parasong is gorgeous! 💖😍
