Beautiful Chateau. I can see a lot of daylight in the roof in the attic which is concerning. Beau Chateau”s Grandfather replaced the roof many years ago and it was 1 million Euros. And they use the Chateau for weddings and if they have to turn on the heat it is 900 Euros for 1 day to heat the whole Chateau. I think this is the reality of owning these properties that most people do not realize. I hope it is everything you dream it to be❤

What I like about videos like this is seeing how people renovate a chateau and make it truly there own by adding their personal touch. I saw that the Chateau u have brought was for sale 3 years ago and the comments on there were not that good about it for some reason , one saying its in the middle of no where . I see it was at a good price tho my biggest worry would be that roof not seeing it in the middle of winter would be the next problem but most Chateaus are very cold in winter anyhow . I don’t think its a problem that a chateau is done up as that maybe a plus point because doing one up takes time . The one u are buying looks very much different then the others which maybe a plus point if u like the Gothic look .

Hi 👋, I hope you are both keeping safe and well, The paperwork for doing the diagnostics on a property is new for this year, from what I can gather, when we X and I purchased a moulin it took nearly 5 months, But Saying that I have heard things go through within 6 to 8 weeks, I think the new diagnostics test will increase buying time, I ended up sending messages nearly every other day trying to push them forward, they do not like this they like to go at their own pace. That is the lifestyle of living in France..
As you said that property was amazing, but somebody had already put their mark on it and would’ve been a shame to change that ,
Not sure whether I heard you say that it got heliport , all its property, I had a client who had got a property that was only about 8 miles away from me, I had been to his property before very old dating back to the 1600s, he phoned me one morning and asked me if I’d meet him his place in about 30 minutes time, I said yes sure I’ll be there in 30m , whilst we were on the phone, I could hear a funny noise, so I just said to, where are you I’m on the outskirts of Cambridge, which is over 40 miles away from where he lives, I said how are you going to get from Cambridge to where you live in less than 30 minutes?, He replied. I’ll be there before you will., that’s okay, I’ll see you back at your place joking, when I pulled into his driveway. There was a large helicopter landed in the back of his garden.,
What a great way to get out of all the traffic first thing in the morning and last thing at night,
I hope all goes well with buying your Château, And obviously you needs a project,
    Phil from the moulin

The first mandatory real estate diagnosis dates from 1997 so it's not new. Now there are 12 to do with a validity of 6 months to 10 years.
It takes between 4 and 6 months to finalize a purchase at the notary on average.

      Hello Mary,
Thank you for your question. I am happy to answer this one.
Simply the ways between all buildings also in addition to the changing weather conditions (sometimes rain, strong cold winds etc) it’s just impractical.
We have this situation on the farm here and carrying out towels, cleaning tools etc.
Having everything in one building (especially on big chateau grounds) is much more practical and time saving.
