League of Legends players are familiar with what it's like to go on a lose streak. You lose a ton of LP and demote your rank. But even worse than than going on a lose streak in solo queue, is going on a lose streak as a pro player. Losing game after game while being paid thousands of dollars to play the game.
Today we look at times when esports teams went on record breaking losing streaks.

Whats the song you used on the V5 part?
To be fair, Vaevictis wasn't really excluded for losing 34 matches but more for the way they lost them. They got hardly any kills, no towers and where just completely and utterly uncompetitive. If any org would try to field a roster as uncompetitive these days, I'm sure they'd be stopped way faster
Also didn’t help that all 5 players were D1-D2 support mains playing against high Challenger players. It was kinda messed up riot fined a team for banning 5 support champs with the accusations of sexism when it’s literally what they mained.
@@theanonymouschicken169 meh the bans were obvious in intent, but then again i can't really be harsh on them when the whole enemy team was a joke in of itself, it was already a mockery
@@theanonymouschicken169 they weren't even D2. Half of them got duo-boosted to D4, and not on EUW but RU server.
@@userunnamed5204 and this team was on the same league with 2019 UOL, team that was actually competitive with East (they even won some scrims during Worlds 2019) 😂

In 2022 Summer, Team WE in the LPL also went 0-16, losing every single BO3 in the regular season. The second team to manage such a feat after V5

I'm currently getting a 9 loss streak in Arena after returning to LoL after years and I'm just waiting for a ban at this point 😅 Although, as I was checking the win rates I played most of the games with champs that had 18-25% win rate. Those 2v2s are crazy.
Why would you get banned for losing in arena lol?
About the winrate, since there are 4 teams 25% is the normal winrate in arena

@@mrocto329 Fiora is the Top Tier Arena Champion with 37,2% WR atm in combination with, this is exceptionally high when we consider 2nd Place Vi is almost 5% behind with 32,4%WR and the most paired partner of Fiora, Taric, only sitting on 28%WR. The majority of the champs is indeed, as you said, between 20 and 30% with a few going as low as 13% , but all this data should be taken with a grain of salt, because there is no information about the pick rate and the elo in which the champion is played.

Why do all these teams have v in their name?
Out of topic but this is why minor/wildcard regions only has 1 or 2 seeds from that region gets to participate in worlds. They also start in the play-in stage which are matches that decides if they are qualified to the main stage where the main regions start playing
