I hope the next south American country on tour is here in Brazil where I live with my Brazilian husband. I am a long time former LdS mormon and long time member of Community of Christ. I enjoy choral music as an apprciative listener. I have always said that I don't sing well but I do sing loudly.
@@Donnie-Lee-Gringo, I’d love the choir to go to Brazil! Alas, I’m pretty sure that’s not the next destination, but the tour is going until 2026, so I think the possibility is still there.
As a gay man, and as a former LdS Mormon guy who stays somewhat current with the more liberal aspects of the "mormon" world, I would disagree that Brother Bennett is an apostate! I appreciate that there is behind the scenes support for LGBTQ community folks who might be part of the organization. Of course when it comes to music and the arts it would be really unusual to have no self identifying or closeted LGBT folks within groups. But since the choir participation requires a temple recommend I would suppose that any gay/bi/lesbian identifying members would be single and celibate, or in a mixed orientation relationship.
Honey, join the single and celibate others in the church. Plenty are straight yet single and chaste. Nothing different is expected. No separate rules... well if you are LGBT, then you get an exception to chastity law. That is the problem with LGBT... they want exceptions and carve outs from God's gospel just for them while plenty of others live chaste lives just fine and do not demand 'inclusion' to sleep around. So, join the Christ alone team and that deep spiritual journey to holiness while chaste.

Deception is broader and refers to the act of misleading someone or causing them to believe something that is not true. It may involve lies, but it can also include other tactics like omission, manipulation, or misrepresentation.
