I'd just like to leave a simple comment: yes, I still believe at least ~4,000-6,000 Burrows Cave artifacts are authentic (I would estimate about 90-98% of those unearthed by Burrows between 1982-1997 are untainted), and that it IS the location of the lost tomb of Alexander the Great, the Ptolemies, and Cleopatra Queen of Queens, having been brought to its location in Illinois by soldiers led by Alexander Helios who was a son of Cleopatra. But I know a good bit about this story, my perspective has nothing to do with Mormonism, the story of this cave had nothing to do with Mormonism until ~1997 when Wayne May came on the scene, and I'd be glad to talk to the hosts more about it if you'd like!
So when Bro Scott Wolter is referring to his Girlfriend Hailey, are we talking romantically or a female one knows? What happened to his wife Janet? I remember in a different video he had a valentines dinner with her. Some one posted that he was sorry he and his wife had split. But what if it's a polyamorous relation?
I think several of Wayne's collection of artifacts are forgeries as well. I've seen several of his collection and they just aren't that impressive, similar to the ones we saw here.
I've never heard of this cave, either, but it seems to have all the attributes of a FAKE story. A guy finds a cave and starts selling relics found therein, but doesn't tell anyone where it is or let's anyone see it for themselves?
Burrows was not Mormon, you say. Yet he supposedly created Bible stories. Why not create scenes that made sense for the area where they were found? Focusing on fakes or replicas does not exclude the possibility of the existence of authentic originals.
Correct, however the distinct lack of authentic originals being found that support the claims of LDS scripture increasingly makes their claims less likely as we keep searching. It's certainly not impossible, but is becoming increasingly improbable. The existence of dragons isn't impossible, but astoundingly improbable as well, and remains infinitely more probable than the LDS view of history being proven by any preponderance of evidence.
@@JoeyJoeySmith "distinct lack of authentic originals?" And you assume that because of this video highlighting an obvious fake made from a marble tombstone? There were thousands of relics and Scott focuses on the most obvious fake? On that basis why would anyone ask him to speak at BYU? Logic tells me Scott is not telling the full story.
If _some_ of these are FAKES, aren't _all_ of them FAKE? Runes from this guy? Maybe. It would be a nice garden stone. If Russell were smart, he would have thrown in a few of those Book of Mormon characters.
Thank you.
Fantastic episode with Scott. I dig his History channel show

I’m a fan of Scott.

Scott. An LDS Deacon is basically an altar boy. 😊 Love your work.

Rod Meldrum and Wayne also had a bit of a falling out as well. He stopped coming out to Rod's Book of Mormon Evidences Conferences a few years back.
@@raininglayne Hmmm. So the Burrows relics which are very similar to the Soper relics in Michigan. Isn't that interesting?
I dream of being handsome like Scott when older
:)
