It’s good to know that many of you people need to find some type of “LOL” in posting some type of rude comment on a video of someone whom is color blind, doesn’t know what a beautiful green lawn looks like or how a beautiful blue sky can be. Why don’t you try to imagining your childhood without bright colors, like Christmas without red and green and than having that all flash all at once. Because you can see those colors on a daily and you take them for granted. Therfore being able to see all those colors for some many years and all of a sudden seeing them you would want to take off those glasses too because it is a rush of emotions that you would be experiencing. Proceeding with “flipping” because they are seeing something for the first time. How dare you all, shame on you. Anyone who has said or wish to say kind words, they are greatly appreciated and shown try true kindness.
In very few of these videos do the loved ones presenting the glasses caution the wearer to leave them on, and especially don't keep lifting them up and down to see the difference. The presenters have the responsibility to inform the receiver of these cautions, because MOST likely, the receiver has never seen instructions for them. I can only assume the presenters did not bother to read the instructions. It is like giving a teenager his first car without teaching him to drive first. Like they say, you can't fix stupid. How many recipients of these glasses never got the full benefit because they kept looking back and forth to try to see the difference?
He’s so adorable. Love how everything just became nonexistent and he went to look at everything. Pay no attention to the hate comments. Some people just have no idea about how something that’s so mundane as colors, sight, and hearing is a HUGE deal to not only the individual effected by its loss, but also the loved ones who suffer too and are just as excited and moved when it can be corrected. I was born deaf, but today because of medical advances I have poor hearing. But I CAN hear. And my family was the same with me. Wanted me to hear everything. To those who would be nasty in the comments...I truly hope Karma doesn’t come around to you and find you or the ones you love one day. We get what we put in this world.
You choosed really good samples to show him like the flowers or the ballon... It really has so many colors that I belive he couldn't apreciate before. :)

The astonishing difference is what makes people doubt what they see at first....leave them the eff alone about lifting them and rechecking. It's the brain that has to adjust and it doesn't do them any harm. Stop griping and enjoy someone's dream coming true

Sometimes all the people around are the people who chipped in to pay for it, and they are giving it as a gift on a holiday or birthday. If I donated money so a loved one could see colors for the first time, I would want to see the reaction...and to see if they work.

After binge watching these videos I agree, but there r ways to include them, after the initial shock of a few hours outside in the summer, park, gricery store, lowes store, then go to a house gathered w friends and see a sunset together, would be a good idea

When you train in firearms you learn to be calm and assess situations, thus his calmness. I am CCW certified because a 86 year old woman living in a retirement apartment next door to my grandmother was severely beaten and raped. I'm prepared, not creepy.
