You do a great job of explaining things to people that aren’t computer science majors of software engineers. Now that Valve and Nvidia are really starting to put in serious effort into Linux we might see other companies start offering software that has been exclusive to windows on Linux.
@@Mattscreative I haven’t figured out how to fix the stupid KDE resolution bug, might try to install Cosmic or just wipe the drive and go with the Gnome version. 🤞I don’t break it lol

Do I hear the perfect dark main menu music 🎶😉. One of my favorite games of all time weapon selection remains unbeatable to this day imo.. And yeah Nobara 40 is amazing I'm going to install it on my steam deck.. Pikaos 4 Tower and minipc.
Alright here's my thought on Nobara. It's petty and it's the only I use Fedora instead. I don't like to see the grub screen or whatever where it shows the kernels while booting. Fedora... Ubuntu... Kubuntu... All have a splash screen like Windows does. Why doesn't he set it up to show the Nobara logo instead? Am I the only one that thinks it makes an OS feel more mainstream and more polished? I can't tell you how many times new users have thought they needed to interact with that screen. It shouldn't be there on single OS installs.
My pc is still old enough to not support secure boot.. So I just put my ventoy in MBR/NTFS.. so that I can use it across all PC's, and not just newer GPT/UEFI setups... IDK, if it becomes a problem, I'll just get another drive and start another ventoy in GPT.. They are so useful to have. I have medicat, hiren, and about 10 linux ISO's and a few windows ISO's on it.. and it's still only half full. What a great setup. Ventoy creators deserve a million dollar house.

So what happens in between putting the files on the usb drive and being on the desktop? everyone just says "just select it in the bios" but nobody shows how to actually do that. When i manage to get my pc to enter the bios settings i can't find the flash drive under boot options anywhere, what am i supposed to do from there?
That’s because it depends on your bios or your motherboard manufacturer. Have you never installed windows? You boot the ISO from the USB drive. Usually F 11 or F 12 keys and then you select the USB drive that you have the ISO written onto
