Thank you for that video I'm new to Linux and it is my first time upgrading fedora system I was kinda scared of the process and this video comforted me about the whole process as well made me feel like I wasn't alone doing this, really appreciate this video ❤
Have one Nvidia machine on 41. My main rig is on 40. I haven't decided yet, in the past I've done fresh installs last couple of versions. I guess my concern are the changes with how the Nvidia driver is handled, if everything works well. I've tested everything but gaming thus far on 41 NV, has been solid. I'm still migrating TBs of data on the main machine and I'll want to do my Steam folders/screenshots last.
Im on Nobara 39 and my updater wont show 40 or 41. i ran sudo dnf update -y nobara-updater --refresh. and still nothing I cant get it to update. Any ideas?
I enjoy your vids. How do you get over most programs being reliant on windows dependencies? Is WINE truly that good enough? I have a dualboot system but I always default to back to windows because of this.
@@benjilmao yeah sorry about that. The download speed on this distro is a tad slow. Normally, I can do 256 MB a second. That’s megabytes. Or around 2.1 Gbps
Why y'all suddenly d√ckriding cachyos. I used it few years back and barely anyone gave a crap about it and now everyone's covering it like a Warner Bros sponsoring.
funny i ran CachyOS, after an Update it didnt start anymore then swapt to Nobara and damn evrything works. I can no run basicially all my games and I have thousends.
NOBARA 41 ISO's ARE NOW OUT! nobaraproject.org/download-nobara/

Update/upgrade to Nobara 41 or do a clean install??
For the moment is not possible to do a fresh nobara 41 install, the isos are not out yet
I just witnessed 3.5gb downloaded in 30sec why I have to wait 4 hours for the same download to finish :sob:

Hi, what to do if after updating the Nobara updater Can't unpack updates after?
head to the nobara discord please
Hey Matt! Great video ss usual.
Any idea if this will cause any issues with the nvidia HTPC image?
Not that I know of
Hey Matt. Thanks for more videos. You think it is better to switch over to PikaOS or CachyOS rather than staying on Nobara at this time?
@@jeremy7383 that is a personal opinion you have to make
@ thanks. Just have had a few bad updates on Nobara and having my main machine break is no Bueno.
@@jeremy7383 Just switched over to Cachy from Nobara.Much better
Was on 40 but had some issues so I made the jump to CachyOS. Nobara was ok but had better luck with Garuda tbh.
