I’ve been there done that. It’s ok to be bald my dude. I wore the exact beanie til I was 25. Sweated my ass off in the summer and people would ask the same thing. then finally shaved my and started wearing baseball hats in the summer and beanies in the winter.
Rob you should just shave it off. I have a friend who started losing his hair and it was a mess up there. Like literally.
One day he just shaved (not full shave, he left a shade of hair) and he looks great now. That along with a tidy beard, just like yours actually, should look pretty good.

Hats are a security blanket for me....I wear a hat constantly and always have. Even my 4 year old asks me why I'm always wearing a hat. Off topic...I never commented on your vids before but I love your stuff. You've actually inspired me to start learning two handed tapping recently. Thanks for all the great videos.

I don't get it. Why does he has to shave and own it when he is balding? Who made that rule? If he likes to keep his hair a little longer and wear beanies he should be able to do so. It is his hair he can do w/e he wants.

true, but it does matter. Trust me I am balding too and even though I am confident with how I looks the insecurities always creep in from time to time.

I usually wear beanies almost all the time once it starts getting cold. I live in Wisconsin so if you live there or have been there during the winter you know it's no joke at all 😂. But I just like the feeling of having a beanie on my head it keeps me warm and like you said in this video sometimes I just ain't tryna deal with my hair lol.

Almost 6 years later, this got recommended to me.
I also wear a beanie or stalking cap of sorts on a constant basis. But my reasoning is I have dreadlocks and my roots are pretty messy lol

I still got most if not all my hair (knock on wood), but I go full cue-ball anyway. I figure, if I lose it, what difference does it make?....plus when you’re in a hot apartment, you can put ice directly on it and it evaporates super fast thus cooling you. #lifehacks

@@Clypsoh I started losing hair at 13 (yes, thirteen) and slowed it down a lot with minoxidil but that's not sustainable long-term. At 19 I started shaving and never looked back. We're men, this is a thing that happens to men. Be strong and proud my bald kings

Also Rob has used a Washburn and a Jackson Stratocaster, the first one being his old main guitar and the other his travel guitar, now he uses that Chapman guitar as his main, solid build.

I have many beanies. My reason for wearing them all the time is the lighting. Brite lights throw me into tunnel vision & trigger panic. I too prefer the way I look in them; its a great chick 2nd looker, until they realize I have a long pony tail hahaha. And then, I can never find normal hats with short brims; cant stand Baseball hat brims. Beanies seem to always be pro fit too... Now go subscribe to my youtube page.

We are our own worst critics. I think you may be yours when it comes to your head without the hat. Embrace who you are without the hat. It makes you more human and far more relatable. Don't be the hat guy. Be Rob. You got my support. If anyone gives you trouble about not wearing the hat, you have many of us who will stand up and defend your right to be Rob and not the hat.

Wearing hat/beanie all the time will make you bald. It's not so hard to wash hair, especially short one. Get a haircut and get rid of the bangs. Don't be afraid of the baldness. Embrace it! Grow a beard instead of hair. That's my tip.
