Huge bot farms at sara gwd in masori/ tank in justicars ely. They log out inbetween kills. 6 bots per world.
will never not blow my mind how in a game where pvm hi-scores are a pretty integral part, people can just bot themselves to top100, taking hundreds upon hundreds of hours. Great bot detection.

Same bot over 11k CG kc now :) I've reported over 200 obvious bots so far, I genuinely don't get why they aren't banned yet, why are they being ignored?
Also sent Pugger a list of 50+ people botting, gonna be interesting to see if he can get in touch with Anti-cheating about them.

@@jmd489 like in the video, some of these people have hundreds of accounts ready and at their disposal. If 5-10 of them get banned but his security measures increase, that sounds like a win.
That doesn’t even mean that this specific area will be his bot farms final location either.

There are 3T4G mining bots that log out the second they see a player. The only reason I spotted them is seeing the rocks respawning when I log in, but no players to be found.

I’ve never understood how the high scores can be littered with bots and Jagex never does anything until someone makes a video on it or does a full investigation themselves without dev tools

botting in osrs will never be fixed unless jagex changes their attitude to increase their effort towards an anti-botting team that matches or outpaces the efforts of botters. I think its been pretty clear over the years, they don't really care as much. they just do something every now and then as an obligatory effort to keep from full blown riot from players
Bots ironically keep jagex alive, so if they banned all of them they wouldnt be making enough money i think

Botting in OSRS will never be fixed, period. That said, Jagex has actually done a *very* good job. They don't get everything immediately, and that's intentional. We know Jagex uses some kind of machine learning model to analyze player inputs, and cross-correlates mass player data to look for emerging patterns that indicate bots, but even after all these years, we don't actually know what all they log. Combine that with the fact that Jagex intentionally delays bans randomly, and you end up with an anti-cheat system that is basically just a black box. It's not that bot developers are outsmarting them, it's that bot developers simply have no clue how Jagex is detecting them, so their only real course of action is to continue making more and more sophisticated bots - but Jagex does actually keep pace. It takes time to build a profile on what exactly a script that only 100 accounts run looks like on the graphs, reliable enough to avoid false-positives. Ironically, the scripts that don't get profiled and chainbanned are all utterly primitive - color bots and AHK and shit.
Imagine how much they make playing along. Once you understand you'll realize they wont lose the profit from the bots.
@@recurveninja Good summary, hard agree. I do think the hardest challenge probably is minimizing false-positives to as low as possible without tanking the detection rate. The last statement made me chuckle because it does seem pretty true. Out of curiosity, I spent like 2 days or so to learn how to make a very simple color AHK script/bot and suicided it in members. I reckon due to my sheer rudimentary of scripting that no one would possibly have this pattern and lack of running into players to be reported, it never got banned. It was stationed just power mining iron at the iron rocks west of the mount karuulm teleport spot
I really appreciate you scoping out the wintertodt bots. I am currently around 76m firemaking xp, but have not done any wintertodt rounds. In the past few weeks, I've noticed my hiscores ranking continuing to climb a few spots, without even working on the skill, because at the range, its hard to gain ranks. I think jagex has really been hitting the WT bots hard lately.

My acc was banned by the system for macro wich i never did im 10years of gameplay 2k total lvl 12 pets, its comfort too see this real bots gettin wat they deserv, the only thing that leaves me happy rn is this kind of vids, keep it up
Same thing for me... I had a 10hp iron man at wintertodt and he got banned... The fact that he says they banned 1.7b makes sense why my iron man got banned for RWT... this is stupid
Jagex falsely banned my 16 year old account with over 2k total, and declined the appeal, and ignored me on Twitter. I don't think they actually care who is or isn't a bot as long they make money. Long story short, I'm never paying anything to this fraud company ever again, and I advise everyone else to boycott them too.
@@BobSmith-bu9fr they just need to pump extra money in anti cheat and support. a lot of people have been falsely banned every since 2018ish due to a malfunctioned anti cheat system and appeals arent getting manually reveiwed so people never see their account back

Found nature rune bots.
I was killing ghouls for a champion scroll and had about 10 different bits all teleporting in to the salve graveyard, using fairy ring to CKR and run to nature altar. All of them 99+ RC, 112, 109, 108 etc. also, one of them died to the jungle mobs lol

I've played this games since classic backing 90s taking breaks along the way and the botting just gets worse everytime I come back I have 3 accounts a low low mage pure, a range gmaul and my new main as I can't access my old which is just an old Gmail rusher great work on helping get rid I report all bots I find not sure if any get banned or not

I haven't played RS in about 4 years. I started an f2p recently, and I'm training my combat in lumbridge Swamp.
every world has accounts with just the training sword and shield that run around and kill randomly and move funny.
the bots are sometimes in sync and try to attack the same creature.
Scary stuff here man, really scarry. A while ago I went to undead druids for some grubby keys afk and i just left bc every world had 2-3 bots on . Same stats same gear.

There's quite a few thieving bots in Priff pickpocketing Lindir in almost every world, they log out/hop the moment you come close to them

Imagine jagex hired like 2 people to just constantly visit bosses/minigames full time job to point out bots, and banon the spot of they are bots. They could RUN through every world in a 8 hr shift easily... 5 days a week.
Instead they have mods like trident getting kick backs from rwt

You should investigate Phosani's Nigthmare bots. It is insane how many there are. Also look at the prices of Inquisitor and Orbs...speaks for itself

2) the price of inquisitors and the orbs is ToA/Nex's fault, obviously. Torva killed inquisitors and the shadow killed the harm. The eldritch has gone up quite literally 300m since toa came out, I have no idea what you think you're pointing out

It's pretty normal for players to stop at 500 points in wintertodt, it's a better "effort for exp" ratio, making it more tolerable and AFK.

I find bots all the time but it always seems to take a month before i see there names gone from the activity i report them doing. What can I do to get the same bot-busting reaction from Jagex? Do I have to be a pmod or something? Or just message their social media? It’s so sad how slow their response time is for just using the in-game report button on a regular account
Gee, it's almost as if the OSRS Dev team is lacking massively in employees compared to the RS3 game or something...
It isn't their fault really, they've gotten slightly more help from the main company but not as much as needed.

i remember u had an issue with a bot teleporting once a player mod teleports into ge. why not DD a bunch of players on the ge teleport area so maybe the bot cant see the mod getting in

When a bot is banned, does the rank for its boss kills go with it? Or does “X” bot keep its rank until someone passes it? Genuinely curious.
I go to chaos alter with an invantory of giant bones and no pkers, but the second i take 100k worth there are instantly people there before i finish 1 set. Are there water bots i don't see or am i getting unlucky with people camping

Soulwars bots are still a HUGE issue. World 311 is a hotspot for them but they go to a lot of different worlds when people start crashing them.
i've unlocked vorkath and seen crazy bots with like around 30k kc , highest one i've seen had 51k kc and was rank 41 vorkath.. can you look into this?
