Been in a wheelchair for about a year now. Used to walk about 13 miles daily. Thank you for this video. Needing to get back in shape. Being in the chair is here to stay, but I can work at getting back in shape.
i’ve been depressed and mostly in bed for the last seven years Sadly. Today is day one of me working out and I came across this video and chuckled to myself thinking this would be easy…… Omg I am in so much pain but it’s beautiful. God bless you and thank you so much. I’ll be back for day two lol
This is the first time I've done any exercises by Caroline and it is the best one I've come across this far. Heart rates up, muscles are burning. I'm on a weight loss journey and this is my definite go to now. Chair exercises were recommended by the doc, so here we go. Caroline, you just got a new followe
I chose this workout because I had a brain tumor removed that took my left side. It’s mostly back, but the messages don’t get to my left leg so well, so other workouts frustrate me bc it’s hard to keep time with my left leg. I am now also type 2 diabetic, and I need to get back on track! I still had trouble moving my left leg to this, but it was less frustrating & you were encouraging. Will keep it up! I want off these meds!!
This me an my daughter first Chair workouts an We Love it I have back knee an shoulder issues from a car accidents but these workouts are really great I will continue to watch you
That was great thank you!! I was smiling by the end and feel wonderful, I’ll be back to watch some more. Thanks for the motivation, I’m just starting my fitness journey.
Hello Caroline. These exercises are great and it is a pleasure to practice them all daily. 💯 I started to feel the effects from the first session. 🙂 Very good and fun. Now this is my favorite time of the day. Kind regards from Portugal 🤗❤
Had hip replacement 8 months ago and not happy with my mobility and strength and rehab can't last forever! It got my 'dead leg' moving. Will keep doing this. It was not unbearable, fun, got my heart going and moved muscles that need to move! Thank you, this workout was perfect.
Your videos are the best. I have now started to do one video in the morning and another, with my wife, in the evening. Thank you so much for what you do.
I used to be very fit and healthy then life happened and between being busy and injuries that slowed me down I put on a lot of weight which makes it difficult to think about exercise. Many beginner exercise routines were just too difficult for me to do and I can't get on the floor cause I can't get back up. On top of that I was just diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. I have very and about to give up and just do the gastric bypass, however, after doing your beginning chair workout I am trying one more time to put myself back together. It wasn't easy for me, but it is something I CAN do and work with. My goal is to loose 45 lbs by summer's end, and then since I have well over a hundred pounds to loose, I will set a new goal.
I have stage 4 emphysema and a bad neck and back. I've had several surgeries. My breath is limited. However, I tried this workout this morning and completed it. Thank you ❤️
"Stay with it no matter what you're doing with your arms and feet". Good, because mine were a floppy mess by that point in the video. Haha. Thanks for the great motivation!
I needed this today. I've been trying to start for a while and this video helped show me a can do it. I want to become stronger and healthier.... with these exercises and the other ones you have, I will!! Thank you!!
Caroline, I'm so thankful to have found your channel. I've done a few of your videos so far. Thank you for all that you do. As my finances hopefully improve (no income for over a year), I look forward to supporting you through Patreon. My only humble suggestion: please consider making the intros shorter, or not really at all. Maybe have an intro only on your Home Page? Just my thoughts.
Thank you so much! Love this..have bad knees so this helps..my weight has gotten out of control so I am focusing on positivity and health instead of weight. I appreciate your positivity..I need it. Appreciate your energy and compliments. Don't feel good about myself and I felt so much better. Thanks again and prayers for you and all of us for good health.😘❤
I love this video. I'm just getting back into fitness after a lengthy hiatus. This workout is perfect for my needs. I felt like I'd had a great workout, it got my heart rate up and I could feel my muscles working. And it gave me energy to start the day. Thanks for all the chair exercises, Caroline. I have foot and ankle issues that make standing exercises difficult, so these chair exercises are just what I need. And I love your delivery. You're supportive and encouraging. Keep it up. Amazing!
Im 62. Relatively thin but I hate to work out. I have a knee that starts to hurt if I do anything that stresses it. So as soon as I start a jogging workout, I quit because I limp after that. I have a free membership to a gym(because of where my husband works) but to be honest, I don't like that either because then I have to re- fix my hair after I work out. I know, first world problems. This is great because I don't have to do anything but get up. No one sees me, so I don't have to "get ready" to go to the gym. And then" get ready" when I leave. I only mess with that once a day after my work out. Yay!
This is amazing. I’ve been wanting to get back into exercising and it’s felt so overwhelming. This is such an amazing workout to get my journey started to being healthier and happier. Thank you so much for this. 💕
Thank you very much! This is by far the most comfortable chair fitness exercise I’ve ever done! I love it so much I’ve actually replayed and did it for morning, noon and night. Plus in between times when I’m feeling stressed. Your voice is so calming and positive🥰 I’m doing aquatic therapy to keep the weight off my joints. Your chair exercise works out perfectly when I don’t feel like getting into the water🥰
Thank you for your content!!! I tore a ligament in my foot about 6 months ago and have had two surgeries trying to get back to normal. As someone who has always been super active I’ve been struggling to find ways to get my body moving, but also let it heal itself. I’m now in a cast and to be able to have workout that gets me sweating but also feeling safe for my injury means so much to me! :)
Hi Caroline, I've done a couple of your videos, love the energy! As background, I have about 20 yrs of experience and training working out (strength training- light and heavy, pilates last few years, TRX at home the gym and pilates studio, plus LOTS of outdoor activities), and pretty good muscle-mind connection. 8 weeks ago I had foot surgery, 17 screws and hopefully next week partial weight bearing can start if xrays look good. Needed to start some conditioning in addition to the matt/core stuff I've been doing at home, so I did the 20 minute chair cardio you have. The walking/stepping in the chair was a bit touchy, as I had to gingerly put down my renewed foot (I've never said "bad" knee, shoulder or foot after my surgery, only 'new' or renewed 🙂). I may try it in the boot next time. My Garmin Fenix said 146calories, HR 134-147 so I got something out of it, excited to do more!) Anyway, MY QUESTION is- even though I'm (trying to) engage my abs/core in the chair workouts, is there any way I can get "it" out of my hip flexors doing the walking/stepping? I was feeling it after the first few minutes, and I don't want those to get too tight and then have lower back pain. TBH this is after 8 weeks that included a lot of foot above the heart position for swelling, crutch use & knee scooter. Does form or sitting on the front or back of the seat make a difference? I did injure my back years ago from too much road biking and not enough stretching, don't want that to happen again. THANKS for reply.
Just wanna say thank you! this just what I needed I can't do the whole thing yet, but I'm seeing some good results my sciatica is not as bad on days when I do this! Thank you Caroline!
I just started this video 2 days ago but have been doing it when getting up in the mornings and then before bed as well. I can't wait to feel a difference because by the soccer feet, im a complete hot mess! Lol! I enjoy your encouragement throughout as well. ❤
I put everyone first for years. Now I’m type 2 diabetic out of shape and need to lose over 100 lbs. Today it’s about trying to get healthy! Thank you for this video! It felt good to move and I’ll see you tomorrow if not one more time today😊
I just want to thank you for making this video. I am disabled With nerve damage in my leg And in constant pain so I can't put Much weight on it, so exercising is it is very hard for me but with this workout I can actually do it. And it makes me feel good about myself so again thank you For this
I love your video I'm going to try it out, the pace seams perfect for me, are there any exercises that are good for sciatic nerve pain in the hips and legs
Great workout if you need a harder workout just pause the video and do more reps. It's a really good workout that you can modify to your fitness level. I will look at her other chair workouts.
Hi, Thanks so much for creating your chair workouts. They are just what I need. Do you recommend, as a beginner, I do this everyday or every other day?
Thank you for that wonderful start to my morning! I am coming back to moving my body after dealing with several years of illness. My body is wanting to move but also has been on restriction for SO long that it has forgotten how to move. Does that make sense? I am having trouble engaging and feeling my core. Any ideas on how best to do that? Thanks for your time and the positive/nonjudgmental workout!
Great video. Excellent concept of movement-medicine! I like the warm up before getting into heavy duty aspects. Very positive and motivational. Pls get a lavalier wireless microphone, which will take this video production quality from great to greatest. Currently, the sound quality is a bit echo-ish either due to room acoustics or because your microphone may be away.
Great suggestion, have you considered becoming a Patreon www.patreon.com/carolinejordanfitness ? This would help me work towards my goal of investing in a wireless mic! Thanks for your support!
This was my first time doing exercises in a chair. I wonder if you have a chair workout for someone (me) with a very bad back. At this point, my back is mostly titanium, and I pull muscles a lot. I need a workout that could help at least a little. Thank you. I enjoyed this workout & I am not in pain at the moment. 😊👍🏻
Hi Anna :) I started with bed workouts. Listen to your body. Dont try to "push through" just to finish. You will get stronger and more fit over time, no need to push beyond what your body can take today and end up injuring yourself further. Are you in physical therapy? I'm sure they can give you some pointers about how to ease into a movement habit. I love it when Caroline says "movement is medicine." It's so true. It helps me with my mental health too:) I started at 2minutes a day. That's all I could handle. It took quite a bit of time but I'm building my strength and endurance. Whatever level you are at right now, truly from my heart I am so proud of you for showing up for yourself. For me that was the hardest step. ✌️💞☺️ Have a great day!
Hello Caroline this is Nakia why I broke my ankle and I thank you with his journey of working out because I really needed it it's not a lot but it goes a long way. Try to work out with you every morning have a blessed morning see you soon

Im so happy to have you here on the channel! Im wondering if you could just modify all chair workouts to just use your upper body? I dont have a knee specific chair video - I do have one on my website that is much more upper body focused though here: carolinejordanfitness.com/videos/

Good afternoon Ms. Jordan. My name is Morla Moseby. I am a 58 year old female who has been struggling with my weight for years. I am 5' 5" and I weigh almost 300 lbs.
