Someone actually made a REALLY well edited video where they layer every fight that was happening at once. They even paused everything whenever Hit used Time Stop, and the video ended being just under 48 minutes.

Not only that but, people ALSO fail to realize that they are so fast that that 48 minutes could pretty much be a decade for us, if anyone from DBZ watched it, they'd litterally just see an empty arena
The comment in the video was a joke on a video about Frieza's 5 minutes, because they're both time related events that both obviously don't occur in 5 minutes

@@FairwaysEpisodesIf you remember, both Zeno's commented about how the entire fight was a blur to them. All the fighters were moving so fast in combat that they could not properly see and keep up with them.

There is literally an edit someone made that perfectly recreated the Tournament of Power to show how it works in 48 minutes. Well put together with multiple panels showing simultaneous fighting.

It probably doesn't help that some of the fast combatants have slow names. 100 times faster than light, but Dyspo's title is the SONIC Warrior? Sonic literally means speed of sound.

The tournament itself is actually 39 episodes, the other 16 episodes are just the zen exhibition and the recruitment process and whatnot
In Naruto there was a full out 2 day way in like 300 episodes this is common for anime

That explains the power,speed and potential of the warriors in the tournament of power and if you guys watch closely goku and jiren was almost always flying throughout the battle between them even though flying was banned but that explains how powerful their punches and kicks were to stay in the air and the stadium was made with the strongest element in the universe and it held in void and so on .....
At the end of the episode they will tell you that 1 or 2 minutes have passed
That makes it even crazier but considering what the tournament is about it makes sense
i saw a video of the ToP with every scene on the same screen at the same time and it added up to 48 minutes pretty accurately

There's a video I remember watching around 3 or 4 months after super ended of someone compiling all the fights to a timer and when they would corrolate. It ended up being pretty on par
There is a video that shows everything going on at the same time, and they even matched up background moments. Flashes from a beam clash or volley, explosions from the stage zoom outs, out or non-labeled fighters reactions from different episodes talking about different moments. I watched it and it was insane to see it.
And lets not forget the grand priest set this tournament to be an HOUR long at maximum.

The passage of time in an anime is more a concept than an actual occurrence if we are being honest.

Fr like dedicating 5 episodes to one fight and then dedicating 10 yo another, can happen entirely at the same Time at two different locations
The comment was a joke on a frieza 5 min video because they're both time related dragonball events that obviously don't happen in their respective set amount of real world time
Not to mention the fights are slowed down for us. They made that point when zeno couldn't see what was happening either.

You forgot to account the time to travel the time before fighting the time after the fighting and all the time in between like any function arriving/setup/event/cleaning/leaving

And we see the story from the characters pov and if you're constantly fighting for your existence, you would be counting down the minutes making time feel slow
I think they mean Goku has 2 seconds to do something: Powers up and has a whole conversation and a flashback all in all taking 5 minutes and then yaps a little and then has a whole second left
If i remember i think it is also slowed down since our human eye can't track the characters because they are moving way faster than lightspeed
The Fourth Great Shinobi war lasted roughly 217 episodes and is only the span of 2 days 😂
Thats why when A-17 "self distructed" but then was still alive, A-18 didnt react shocked but reacted in a happily way
I've actually seen an edit of the ToP in real time. It did stuff like speed up some of the fighting to closer to how it would be in real time rather than the slowed pace that's animated. It also did a split screen to show several fights at the same time. It was a pretty neat video.
Goku and Jiren at the end are breaking the sound barrier like they did 40 hrs worth of fighting in 2 mins
Also most people should already know this but 99.99% of the people in Tournament of power was multiple times faster than light😂
The only caveat to this is the commentary from the peanut gallery and the occasional talking between fighters and teammates

I like the idea that it was actually like 50 minutes but the grand priest saw how much fun the Zenos were having and he let the final fight finish first.
I would love to see a big split screen of all the fights happening and playing out in the 48 mins.
4th great ninja War was like 2 days
This makes sense, but they also showed universes being erased at completely different times, with main characters fighting completely different people
Not to mention how fast they were going
Even the zenos couldn't see some fights with slow motion .
It is nice having different perspectives.
The Tournament was just like Goku’s fight against Frieza on Namek. The fights just happen quickly but are slowed down to fill in time as well.
I saw a edited video on RUclips once that showed all the fights that happened at the same time via split screens and maaaan was that tournament wild

I once saw a video that showed the entire Tournament of Power in 48 Minutes. It was awesome. I need to watch it, more slowly, in 55 Episodes (once again)
It’s the same as in JJBA when Joseph and Avdol were fighting Mariah while Jotaro and Polnareff were fighting Alessi, the first pair fought in episodes prior to the fight with Alessi but the fights were happening at the same time
Their combat speed is by far what our naked eyes could ever imagine seeing , so in turn they could easily complete this all in less than an hour . And the way they depict it in all the episodes is what is going on from other views at the same time . This is what many need to understand, it’s the same with movies
Actually a person strung it all together in the 48’minutes apan showing multiple fights at once. Its actually pretty wicked.
The main bloody issue is Because of how slow sound moves it would take more than 45 Minutes for all of the talking to happen just from the tournament of power because everyone has to be moving and reacting slower than sound in order to pick up the sound waves and have a conversation otherwise they wouldnt be able to hear each other if the are moving faster than the sound waves and even with the fights happening at the same time it would all still take more than 45 minutes. The fix to this would have been everyone communicating through telepathy

There was a guy that took all the episodes and weaved them together into a multiscreen video to show everything at once. It lines up to about 48 minutes, only longer because Hit stopped time a couple times.

Also, the combatants are moving faster than normal people so things are slow down to be relative normal speed for the audience

The problem is that we see the characters being eliminated one by one instead of seeing them in quick succession if it was at the same time, so that's a thing that can confuse a lot
It was being shown from Goku UI and jirens POV so that's why it seems so long
Also...people seem to forget, they were moving at the speed of light way before buu saga, even z fighters had a hard time seeing the first sayan fight with nappa and goku
I remember someone made a video of it putting all 55 eps into a 48 mins video to show us how it would look like in real time.

A good example of the fights happening at the same time would be when goku finished off universe 2 and when gohan finished off universe 6 they were happening at the same time

The only problem with that is every time we cut to different characters they react to the END of the other fights. As far as i can tell, you never see a character's reaction in their own fight towards a different ongoing fight

The great ninja war was around 200 episodes (not counting the filler arcs in it) and it was 2 days
