Connie, thanks for sharing! I have a frame, picture of my husbands grandfather taken in 1906 hand carved wooden ornate frame, that I have been wanting to repair for about 30 years now have been afraid to do it! I think after watching you do this I will bite the bullet and just repair it! The Pam cooking spray tip is a perfect idea, that has been a big hang up for me as to how to get the hot glue off. Thanks again!
I have an old ornate mirror frame that I need to try this on. The frame came out fantastic , and I’m sure Lisa’s parent appreciate your hard work 💙 TFS😊😊
Wow the frame turned out wonderful. I have a wooden cuckoo clock that is missing a section and I need to do the same. I have not worked on it because I wasn't sure how. This is a perfect solution. When I am not sure if something will work I also put off the project until I get the nerve. Thank you for sharing this. You have given me the confidence to try it. PS: I just order a few stamps from you this week. I can't wait to get the Boughs of Holly. I have so many ideas.
FYI you can buy aluminite amazing putty, not scary at all. It’s a 2 part yellow putty. You use in same fashion and idea as this but it easily comes right off and made for repairs just like this!
Exactly. She ruined a very pretty vintage frame with hot glue and paint. :( For the love of God people STOP!!! using hot glue on vintage and antique pieces. There are products on the market made specifically for doing this type of repair. One company is called Smooth-On. They even have repair videos showing the proper way to do this type of repair. I would have been pissed if someone did this to my vintage/antique family heirloom.

O.k. so what is Pam?
Pam is a cooking spray so your food doesn't stick. Works the same here
Well that was strange... everything about that job and your video was totally without doubt strange..

You think people can listen to more than a few minutes of useless patter?
Please get to the point otherwise you will loose your viewer less than two minutes in!! Just being honest
