M9A3 my favorite been killing high lvl pmcs this whole wipe with it
M45a1 with the 11 round mag and an X400 has always been a reliable pistol for me though as soon as you run into an altyn wearer it becomes kinda a meme to see how many shots their visor can take. But also the P226 with the larger mags is a slept on pistol.
One time in interchange... i heard someone running then i heard some "poc poc" then i saw the guy and killed him... he had a P226 silenced... just the smoothest silenced pistol ever... since then every early wipe or for monney run i mod a P226 and go my favorite too

Sig 226 also has a great barter with peacekeeper lvl 1 (I believe) for 4 black knives. I have a rig full of em!
the most cost efficient pistol is just buying a glock18 with a drum mag/big stick

A fully kitted glock17 on night Interchange runs is arguably my most used weapon now, and the most fun I have had in Tarkov. It is a completely different dynamic and very capable of killing players. And it isn't just the ratty one shot kills that you win. The full on fights in the hallways with geared players is also fun as hell. Playing this way, in my opinion, is more fun than any full kit run.

Meh. 7n31 is the only decent round and it's as expensive as m995. A useable glock or five seven costs more than a half decent AK. I see very few reasons to use a pistol. They're useless unless you use the best ammo which is all a joke of price abuse on the FM.
