Up close and personnal, the way God intended. - VSS (a busted one will cost you around 40k), 20 rounders, SP5 or SP6. Half a second and a mag dump later and you turn your enemy into swiss cheese. - Klin with PSV ammo. Eat the rich, eat their legs. - MP7 with subsonic is surprisingly good. Take 20 rounders in your pockets and use this gun like a full-auto Five-Seven on crack. - Good ol' trusty VPO with AP-M ammo. Red dot is optional. No scope allowed.
Except 7.62 PS sucks and is nowhere near as good as the data suggests. Two tap a tier 4 helmet, no death. Get one-tapped by PS wearing a tier 4. I hate this game.
I usually go for the RPK or RFB when I budget run with low level traders, but the 5.45 AKs are pretty great once you can buy the attachments since the ergo is way better. Honorable mention to the VPO-209, since you can buy it on day 1 of the wipe and once you hit lvl 20, the AP ammo isn't too bad on the flea.

M80 is good enough to usually 1 tap level 4 armor, BT also will usually go through tier 4 on the first or second shot. Whereas 7.62 PS almost never 1 taps level 4 armor. Not an issue if you're only finding penis helmets, but if you find a level 4 helmet, it's gonna need a face/ear shot.
@@Dreath1911 I do prefer the MDR, but at 130kish on the flea vs the 50k for the RFB, It's less budget friendly than the other options. On the shorter ranged maps, I think the VPO-209 is an absolute budget monster, since it's AP can 1 tap anything tier 4 or below, and its a pretty cheap round too.

I've always preferred 5.45 because at heart my play style is similar to killa and our lord(r6 siege). I'm the guy on the squad with more armor than a tank, 95 and 60 mags with an rpk suppressing while the squad flanks so 300 rounds per raid I'll take the 400 roubles per round

My budget gun is a busted up sa58 with a mid tier compensator depending on whats cheaper, the keymod grip, the keymod not full ergo foregrip, a brs stock, the best grip, and a sight of somekind, thing always slaps with m80
I been using the ak-74N with rk-3 pistol grip zhukov 2 stock and a rk-2 foregrip since day one baby, i dont even use peoples meta gear when i kill them anymore lol
556 MDR can match this. Another thing is if you can barter the vityaz from Mechanics, you use the parts to build a very similiar stats AK to this one. I usually slap them on a AK101, cost about 100k with optics, and paired with 855a1. Easily melt anyone.
If you don’t have max traders a vpo 209 with AP-M is the way to go. It might be semi auto but you’re running the best ammo for it. Bring one mag in the gun and two extra and you’re good to go. Doesn’t have to be built for recoil since it’s semi too so you save a lot on parts
I prefer the rpk for budget I run it with a silencer cause that's just so good and the gun has like 64ish recoil with like 30 ergo but it works basically the whole wipe once you get flea
people sleep on the ak 101, idk if you have ever used the 556 aks but since 856a1 is the same price(sometimes cheaper) than bt and is better, it seems like a good budget option . You can even silence them and have decent ergo(50s) while keeping the recoil really low, for like 150k . Also the 556 mdr is relatively cheap to silence while also keeping the recoil down. A lot of people just don't use 556 if its not an m4 or hk with 855a1 or 995 and I think a lot of people ignore the less meta guns.
I always run AK platforms but the RPK is another great lower cost gun that shoots the 5.45 and you don't have to do much to the RPK to make it more than usable.
I've been running the ak 101 a lot cus of the m855a1 buff. Run that fucker with an warrior+nt4, recoil pad and one of the troy/whatever handguards and you've got a suppressed gun w decent recoil for anywhere between 80k to 120k.
instead of wasting around 60k on that armor 4 rig, upgrade to a class 5. if you can catch the diary for 20k you can buy a korund on barter ( 4xdiary) from prapor 3. or 116k from prapor 4. Class 5 wins fights for real at this point in the wipe. If you scav on woods (barrel run) or a lucky custom you can get 400k-500k or more. And the ak build will cost you around 100K+ 40K bullets +80k-116K armor class 5. If you take helm plus rest you barely pass 300k. that's 1 scav run.
Hey, quit revealing my meta! It's pretty close though for real, I run an Ak-74N purchased from Prapor brand new, I run a bastion dust cover instead of the mount, and I run a keymod handguard. I run a 60 rounder, topped with 20 BS and rest BT, then 2 or 3 30 rounders with 10 BS. I'm a lvl 34 or 35 with 12 mil. roubles. As far as I'm concerned, it's about equal to use RPK, maybe slightly less on stats but cheaper and def. more customizable. I win fights against many diff. gun types, it's fire rate is like 650 rpm I think off the top of my head, so you do occasionally lose fights close range to a faster fire rate weapon. But then that boils down to positioning doesn't it.
I started using nearly the exact build a few weeks ago as a gun I could easily build and give to some new friends who recently started playing. 100k for under 60 vert recoil is a fucking steal. I run BS ammo because fuck it, the gun is cheap anyways.
5.45 is so weak, Igonik can't even one tap Scav's in the head. If needing a weapon under 120k then the 7.62 MDR with a simple foregrip and any optic of your choosing is better, full auto for right in your face action and tapping heads for anything over 20m is decent enough, M80 is stupidly cheap if you're really struggling for the funds although M62 is really the minimum at this point in the wipe if you want to be hitting those Altyn boys. This build is really nice for the price and certainly worthy of this video but BSG do need to give 5.45 a little buff as it already suffers with low ROF.
Can't tell if tweak is controlling the recoil or just has high lvl for assault rifle and recoil control skills. When I build this gun it kicks up a lot harder...

in a world where most people use guns that are 230k+ 100k is less than half what most people run daily, so yeah it isn't a 35k vepr hunter but it'll do a lot better than any of those super cheap guns that just need a sight
Uhhh yeah, what's your recoil skill because they don't act that accurate at all, and you're buying stuff 90% of players don't have access to from the vendors so everything's 50k-100k per part on the FM.

Everyone has been talking trash about 5.45 AKs for a long time but they have their place. You can even do milder builds and they still do pretty well.

That BP ammo got me some juice.
The RRD muzzle device sells for like 100K early / mid wipe on the flea. It's only super cheap when you have it unlocked from the traders.

80k for a scav loadout the fuck? do you have fence level 1? at fence level 3 almost 4 i usually pull 100k-150k. for a factory rush through.
Why Buy the gun, wen you can craft it for like 10-15k
