Pro Tip: Pick up handguards, when you see them as a scav. they take up one slot and you can put a foregrip, sight and usually 2 light/laser combos on them. You get 4 Spaces for the price of one

When I saw you not know if the SVD mags were Prapor lvl4 or locked behind a quest it struck me that you may not know you can hover over where the purchase button would be. Doing this tells you either the trader level required or if a missions needs to be completed to unlock the trade (just in general won't tell which quest it'd be).

In return here are my stash management tips from me, a proud and experienced 2nd wipe player:

    2) sell more
    3) die more

    • @Micromation
      @Micromation 2 года назад +6

I will make it easier for you. Sell everything you get at the beginning of the wipe, aside from meds and pistols and pistol ammo, shove meds in your secure container and go on night woods. Kill some scav for immediate upgrade in firepower (sniper scav has really good weapons 90% of the time, sometimes give you free NVG as well which is for you to use or 50k pure profit) and hit all food and valuables spawn for high value vendor items (condensed milk, vodka, whisky, moonshine, gold chains, cats, lions, ravens, cocks, clocks, badges, etc bitcoins, also check weapon mod spawns for silencers and nvgs since they vendor for quite good price - anything that sells to vendor for decent money). After 3 raids you will have enough money to buy your Junkbox, no need to wait 2 weeks for it xD

  • @cyandrix

I'd like to point out that using 2 CSA rigs from level 1 ragman stores the same amount of space as 1 azimut and also takes up the same space (also two 2x3 slots is easier to play tetriz with than a full size azimut). It also gives you the option to store two 3 slot items per CSA rig - I have like 20 of these as a standard user and it helps so much when paired with a scav case.

A great tip for you @Airwingmarine since I hear you saying this lot, that you are not sure what level an item is unlocked, if you don't know at what trader level an item unlocks, you can mouse over the "locked" text in the flee market, and it will tell you what trader level it needs, or it will tell you that you need a quest to unlock it.

    This wipe, I've rushed cases.
    - 2 Scav Junkboxes before lvl 15, 3rd directly after.
    - Barter for Holodinik from running into Goshan (2x, saving for 3rd)
    - Barter for Medcases (sucks now, needs med tools), 2x
    - 2 Ammo boxes, bartered
    - Dogtag case
    - 1 Grenade and Mag case each, crafted
    - 2 Docs cases to hold all keys
That is over 6M in cases, but I never even had to consider to put everything in rigs and I want them later anyway. Sold almost all weapons/parts to flea or vendors. I also insure almost nothing, as insurance early is a waste. I'm outleveling the stuff that comes back 1.5d later.

The true way of learning stash management is by playing on a standard account. Gotta love when EOD players occasionally complain about their stash being full then in the corner we the standard users sit needing 39.2mil Roubles (Not including Peacekeeper, Ragman 4 and generator, workbench, heating 3 AND intelligence 2) just goes to show what grind EOD users skip by paying an absurd amount of money for a "Beta"(But don't worry it'll get out of beta now that Nikita is done with his hollywood dreams). Just play the game right? Yeah initial good standing with traders would also be nice needing less tasks to get to those level 4 traders(Looking at you Jaeger). Cool video though, very informative.

1:50 Props for pointing out that the "magazine handling" solution is not to "sell all your mags" but rather, to sell those mags that you either can buy or will not use. Had some old-timer tell me straight up "just sell all your mags." Shortly after I realized that many of the ones I sold (at level 8) I still couldn't buy.
The ONLY way to learn to play Tarkov is to immerse in Tarkov. PERIOD.
Watching guides can help. Doing practice runs can help. But ultimately you gotta play, and fail and lose shit to realize what is important.
This is something that I think you guys who have been playing this all these years fail to say too often: Until you put in a thousand hours or something (maybe only 500 or maybe 2000 depending on how readily an individual learns) it is going to be a struggle.

"I swear there's something in the game ..."
I have been saying this for ages. I strongly believe that loot is loaded per client and the person that opens the case is the one that determines what's in it. And that's why you should NEVER accept a task for found in raid items until AFTER you have found the items. Just look up the task on the wiki for what items you'll need, collect them and accept the task after you've found them.
For car repair this wipe, I found all the spark plugs and 3 of the 4 batteries. Cannot tell you how many batteries I came across on scav runs and PMC runs and didn't take them because I had way better loot. I accidentally accepted the task not realizing I was short a battery and never saw another battery again until after I bought a tank battery, crafted the car batteries and turned in the task. And now, car batteries all over the place again.

ill add my own few tips here in case anyone reads them:
    1) you can buy picatinny risers for 9k on the flea, and if you mount a scope that takes 2x1 slots on it, it turns it into a 1x1.
    2) instead of azimut rigs, you can buy MPPV rigs, they give you 4 extra 1x1 slots on top of the azimut's 10 2x1s. i have 2 of them to store my weapon mods in and stuff.
    3) if you store flashlights and things for your builds, you can buy/find one of those shotgun tri rail things, theyre super cheap and easy to find, and you can attach 3 attachments to them for a 75% reduction in space usage.

Tarkov Tracker is a handy tool too. Before I toss future quest/hideout items into my junkboxes or rigs I mark them off on TT. Saves me from holding onto stuff I've already found, but can't find in my tetris mess of nested backpacks and rigs. Also reminds me of stuff I might not remember I should hold onto.

i think the biggest tip is when you have weapons and helmets and such clogging your stash tell yourself "a 15min scav run will net 200k+. if i sell this gun, headset, helmet, etc. and buy it back, how much money per time am i making/losing?" i.e. if i spend 5-10min per raid orgainsing stash to save a little bit of space each time. after 2 raids i would have wasted more than if i just sold it all and then did a scav run and buy it all back for when i need it. and again, 200k+ is a decent bit of guns, headsets, and armor when you consider that you got half that items value when you sold it. In conclusion. SELL EVERYTHING EVEN NICE LEVEL 4 ARMOR cause you make more roubles per hour selling it and doing a scav later than you do reorganizing for 10+min every single raid. Also with a clear stash you can then always do a 5min total factory scav extract run and make an additonal 100k per raid. something that no one does cause they dont have the stash space for rig, backpack, gun, armor, headset, and helmet.

There's a little more poor man's stash tips I always had to use due to playing on a Standard account:
    1. Before playing as a Scav, I equip the biggest guns on my PMC and fill my backpack, vest, secure container and pockets, to have enough space to unload Scav loot I later sell.
    2. Sometimes taking some weapon parts apart doesn't save you space directly, but ends up with a two smaller items or similar you can put into vests, saving some space.
    3. Shoving ammo into magazines and weapon chambers sometimes saves you a slot or two, especially without a weapon case early on the wipe
    4. If you don't have anything to craft, you don't take out items out of hideout crafting station, to avoid cluttering the inventory.
    5. You can put weapon parts and magazine into weapon case, if you manage to get that early. I think the same applies to pistol case, too.

Anything which can go into a LSJB should - that's a 12:1 size reduction. I found it useful to have two LSJBs - one for quest & hideout items and one for "sell / craft when full". Ammo, Mag & grenade cases are cheap per slot saved. (Save more space by loading up the mags with ammo.) Use doc cases instead of key tools for keys - half the cost.

They're more expensive rouble wise but the "Velocity Systems Multi-Purpose Patrol Vest" or MPPV is the best rig for storing items. 24 slots for 12.

what are your thoughts on the LBT-1961A Load Bearing chest rig ? its a 3x3 18 slot which is the same 2.0 efficiency as the vsmpp but that one has 2 4 slot areas, and the 3x3 is easier to play tetris with when sorting. im still not lvl 15 but im debating on buying one of those, or maybe even the 2x3 CSA because it has 2 3 slot areas and a 2x3 is even easier to sort with.
first time player btw, hence me not knowing what rigs to use

    • @Evalend_
      @Evalend_ 2 года назад

@@Big-Government-Is-The-Problem It's probably the best choice if you're storing 2x2 items such as helmets. The MPPV only has 1x2 and 1x1 slots.

The one thing I strongly advise against, is not stacking your bags. If your goal is to save space, you can pack all those bags into the pilgrim, and then use a scav junk box which is available at lvl1 Therapist to store streamer items. 5 times as efficient

I've found it super useful to take my attachments I find in raid, and the ones I like I attach them to my weapons anywhere I can. End up upgrading weapons to have meta handguards and they end up having 3 sights, 2 flashlights a front grip. Lol they start looking ridiculous but hey it's free storage
