Man, RIP Taylor, I hope Dave gets through this, he's had to go through a best friend's death before, he doesn't deserve going through another, same thing for Pat too, he may not have been as close to Taylor or Kurt but he knew and played with both of them, also Darby. I know this comment is late but, better late than never.
I think Dave will be just fine but foo fighters is finished for sure

Love the first Foo album. Saw the tour to support it , small club, it was insanely awesome
They were going to do an anniversary tour of that album and do the same places in order again but COVID fucked it all up.
Dammit.
I did as well. April of 95 when they opened for Mike Watt .. then a few months later , on their first headlining/club tour , with Shudder To Think opening .
So true. Often times my song becomes way better when all members contribute.

I loved his first Foo Fighters album. All him. I’m a Foo fan but that’s my favourite album of theirs for sure. For All The Cows. Haha love it
100% problem is people don’t want to take that road anymore because it task time, patience and the right combination of people to really make an awesome band. Then they have to penetrate which is even harder.

Collaboration always adds dimension. A good group of people working together toward a common goal, make great things come true.
Though people these days want to become the next great success story all on their own. Some even think that other people and teams exist only to support and bolster their personal brand.

I think theres a couple sides too it. I definitely agree with what Dave is saying most of the time, but then you have cases like Kevin Parker too, who creates all the music of Tame Impala by himself. I think it just depends on the person/group of people and how they work best

I think he killed Taylor Hawkins that studio 666 movie was weird where he becomes possessed and kills the entire band but Taylor’s death scene was gnarliest… yeah that came out a month before he died

The last person to actually make rock and roll songs. 😢 I'm not sure that he quite gets enough recognition for that.
Unfortunately Dave has big decision himself. Alcohol is now causing major health , family , judgement issues for the Grohl. Hope he stops drinking and starts drumming again because he is a pitiful guitar player. Just awful. It's the reason there are 2 others lol . I don't think they even turn him up into the mix when doo doos are playing.

If only this wildly successful musician would just listen to our resident boomer Frank from RUclips, rock and roll would be saved.
