- My Honda CRZ gets its First and LAST detail in my ownership! I give the car a FULL professional exterior detail along with an engine bay deep clean. From Washing to Paint Decontamination, Paint Polishing, and Ceramic Coating, we give the CRZ the works!
My long explanation detailing videos don't get much love, so this time around I tried to make it more interesting! I knew the CRZ would have an insane detailing transformation from the beginning, I just wish I had done it sooner! In this video, I briefly go over the products I use for a paint correction process, but try to focus more on the satisfying shots. Not that there's a ton of CRZ Detailing videos to compete with, but I personally think this one takes the cake.
When I'm doing a FULL exterior detail, the prep steps (like anything) are the most important. Using a dedicated fallout remover dissolves metal particulates in the paint, followed by a higher PH soap to remove general road grime. From there it's a full wash, clay bar (or towel), and then jumping into the polishing. For the CRZ, I did a two step polish to remove deeper scratches and swirls, then a fine polish to gloss it out. The cherry on top is a ceramic coating to lock in the work, add more gloss, and future chemical and UV resistance. Headlights were re-corrected, and I'll never use the cerakote headlight kit ever again lol.
What I didn't expect, was that this detail was going to be on the HOTTEST day of the year, go figure. But all in all, the CRZ had a fantastic paint transformation that the future owner can enjoy. Hope you guys dig it, as it was a ton of work!

Have you ever thought of using hyper dressing on the fender liners I’ve been thinking of picking it up but I’d only end up using it on my engine bay if I couldn’t use it on my fender liners

My dad bought a Cerakote kit for the headlights on his truck and asked me to restore them...so as soon as I saw you had picked up that kit I knew it was going to end up coming off. Works fine for some people (my Dad was happy)...but I wasn't happy with the results.

You can find them used for around $5000-$8000 on Facebook market place.

God I wish you were my friend and could help me out with mine. one day I was out washing the car in the heat (too hot for me), and didn't pay attention, accidentally used the scouring pad side of the sponge on the roof and hood 🤦. Not buying a car yet, but want to figure out how to correct it without having to take it to the paint shop

Sad u not doing anymore vids on this car. Hard to find many videos on this car. I have one myself and I enjoyed watching ur vids. Only thing I wish u would have done was a different body kit and wing since everyone does this car the same in the video I have seen

Is the Crz a good little car? I had a 2012 civic si, loved it, a few other base model civics, an Acura TL, a Honda fit, would I love a little stick Crz? Any input from other owners 👀
Well I can give you some facts:
The typical mpg is 36-40
Has an auto stop feature that helps save gas
Has three modes that you can drive in: Sport, normal, and Econ.

Going on five years with mine. If you go into it knowing that it isn’t fast, it’s a great car. Make sure you get a manual. The interior is top notch, and is reminiscent of the S2000. It’s a fun car to daily, and a lot of people will want to race you. Just wave and smile.
