Great footage! White island and the shoals in general are one of my favorite fishing and cruising spots. Definitely a day to stay at the dock! Lol. Thanks for sharing.
I visit the Shoals every year, in fact, I just returned from a trip in August 2024. Now I realize why the ships don't go out there in the winter. I think of how the permanent residents of yesteryear coped with these awesome storms!
Through the miracle of the lnternet l can watch dramatic storm footage like this and simultaneously thank my lucky stars that l'm not out in that stuff!
Always fun to watch footage of winter storms and then read comments from people whose sole experience with the ocean is spring break in Cozumel pretending to be authorities on the northeast US.
