I have to admit, when you said you were going to a different Daw and wouldn't be focused on Mixcraft, I was very bummed. I have met very few people who knows of Mixcraft let alone have used it as long as you (well maybe me...) Love your commentary and I understand that part of you has moved on but when I saw this review of 10.5 from you, I was totally jazzed! I have tried a few light versions of other Daws, Cubase and Ableton and I like Ableton pretty well. Cubase I never got to figure it out. It felt like Highschool math (which I almost failed). But I always fall back on Mixcraft. I told some haters the other day, I didn't think I would ever change my DAW. Good to see you man!
Never leaving for good, mixcraft just is no longer my primary DAW but i still keep my heads up as far as updates and new features coming out and i have a tutorial channel titled "BuzzyW1llHelp" where i still upload tutorials from time to time
Mixcraft should sign you up as a tech consultant. You called for these new features a few days after M10PS dropped. Please keep us mixcraft users caught up! Thanks,
what i really want from mixcraft is to be able to take a short loop from the library, jam over it for minutes and have the recorded audio on one track, not in a million take lanes. it seems like it should be so simple
Put the loop in the actual lane and then either just take the end of the loop and extend it out .. Or copy paste that loop it next to loop and then extend that one out. I think this is what you wanna do. Then arm and record the track under it and play to your hearts content.
@@RoadRunningBuzz ok. My work flow is something like take a drum loop and hit record, this loops around and around while recording guitar or whatever in a different track. Each time it loops it records the guitar on a new lane I have to then drag and drop these takes onto one lane and consolidate them. The reason for this workflow is spontaneous jamming, we don't know how long the drum loop should be Thanks
Hey what is your though about FL Studio. Just wondering I tried it and I feel like I can get something done with mix faster than FL. So just wondering about your opinio. Thanks dave
@@RoadRunningBuzz thanks for the reply. I really have moved to Mixcraft Pro 10.5 all the way because of fast work flow. Like your videos keep em coming. dave
Woooow! This is wonderful... All I wanted💚🤍💚

Im trying to process exactly what you mean, so i you recording multiple instruments or multuple takes or both and just want them consolidated?

Honestly i think its all work flow, like i love FL for beat production but for vocals i would rather use something else
