Different to hear him in a smaller setting. I saw him perform this same set with these great musicians in Stamford, CT at The Palace Theater. Is this jazz club still in business?
amazing the Japanese lapped up jazz even bloody baseball after the Mikado Douglas Macarthur twisted their brains. I now find Torme's scat cringeworthy. Better to hear him rather than see.

Thank you. He is promoting his cd Night at the Concord Pavilion, but in my opinion he is singing even better in this intimate setting than on the cd
