Man, I haven't had regular TV for 10 years and forgot what it's like to have a show you just can't wait for another episode to drop. This reminded me for sure. Such good stuff!!! We rented quads outside of San Diego last month after a big rain. The place wouldn't let me rent the dirt bike I had reserved because he thought I'd be getting stuck all day, but instead of putting me on the same TRX 250s all the new riders were on, he went and grabbed a 400EX for me. What a blast! I was the only one hanging out with the 1000cc side by sides up front all day. Not a horsepower monster, but definitely a capable rig! Love your stuff Mike! You have my subscription, sir!

A lot of work will be needed to pull that off. To comment back on my 2 stroke bit just make them 3 man teams to add in the legends quads, banshee and 250r.

You guys should enter a couple of your quads in the Cross Country races here in NY.October 30 is the 3rd race at Sick Brothers mx track.November 6th at Hogsback Hill mx track in Palmyra NY is the last of the 4 race series.
I think you will love racing.I have been racing on and off since the 1980s mostly on 3 wheels my 85 250r I Still have it.I raced XC in the 90s on a Quadsport. Since the 90s I've been racing my 200xs and both air and liquid Rs.The last 10 years drags and tt.I won the Open trike class and placed 3rd over all in 200 class this year.I want to race XC but the Organization doesn't allow trikes.Next year I may do MX on my trikes at age 59 lol.
Great videos as always … one thing I noticed tho …. If you trying to go faster stop using the clutch to up shift there’s no need to and it just makes for a longer shift , slower, acceleration and for those that don’t let off the gas while doing that go thru clutches a lot quicker than they should . As I’m sure you know but readers may not , these type of transmissions are close ratio , dog engagement sequential gear boxes , simply preload the shifter right before ur shift and slightly let off the throttle while completing the shift with ur foot as usual might feel funny at first but once you get the hang of it you’ll never clutch up shifts ever again . No this will not damage the transmission in anyway either and a lot of new machines are coming with quickshifters which allow you shift without the clutch up and down using and ignition cut instead of requiring the “throttle” blip in the method I described.. As an example I couldn’t go faster than a 10.50 on my 636 when I first got into motorcycle drag racing 15+ years ago .. well once I learned to shift without the clutch my times dropped into the 10.30’s and I picked up 2-3 mph . Thanks for reading my 2 cents . Hopefully my advice will help someone out . Again great content ! I’d love to ride with ya guys sometime , you’s would love my area we have endless trails with mud , sand , gravel ect ! And hollowpaw is only 45 mins away too

Great Competition! I thoroughly enjoyed this! I think that A small body mass, on the smaller machine is A solid Contender. I'm 160 Lbs. And can throw my old Honda 1991 250X around on the Trails, almost as quick as my Honda 2014 400X. The 400X has won, but in my defense, they were not on Closed Courses. Looking Forward to the Next Episode!

Man Pete if you had an 05 TRX 400 EX it would not had been fair at all. They had made some changes that year that gave it a much stronger top end.
