If anyone care, Motion array recently made changes to their royalty system. The template you are advertising are made by hard working authors who will get very less royalty compair to old system, if you as content creator want to have high quality assets in future then let motion array know to revert the royalty system to older times. A humble request from motion array author.

I agree that creators should be properly compensated - which i'm sure means different things to different people. It's always hard when one company buys another, I've been there. Change is hard. Your issue is with MA. Your concerns are valid. But don’t go after Jason. He works tirelessly in the making of his videos . Your business relationship with MA has nothing to do with Jason. You tell Jason - “nothing personal “ but it becomes personal when you choose to land on his Channel and make your case about MA in his comment section Again your issues with MA are valid but Your strategy is wrong . Redirect your efforts on your own social media channels, on a online petition or a direct campaign toward MA. Like you, Justin is a creator . Respect should be given.

Seems very similar to Envato Elements. I often use assets from there from a yearly membership. I'll head over check it out. I'm wondering if the stock video will be less cheesy. 😂

Hi Jason - I'm having a lot of similar issues as seen in other comments. I've downloaded the Motion Array packs and when I try to open the files even outside of Resolve 18, it says the codec isn't supported. I've cleared render cache, etc - and nothing seems to fix this issue. Any assistance would be much appreciated.

NOTHING WORKS!! What am I doing wrong, im following the instruction video frame by fram but nothing works?!?!?!?!?! Is it the framrate? The template (urban style promo) is in 30fps and my clips are 100fps. Im running on Win11 PC with a Resolve Studio version 17.4.6 Build 4
your older videos were actually not bad, and probably earned you a lot of viewers. I actually prefer newer and smaller channels because they haven't gotten super annoying yet with an over-the-top style of talking and a bunch of silly bells and whistles

@@JasonYadlovski I intended to say one out of 10. I get black screens instead of content. I've tried everything. Play around in the Fusion page, moving cursor around, gone online with other users who have the same frustration. It's a common problem. I have given up on them. We are all frustrated.
Try this, go to the playback menu and delete all render cache. For some of the templates and things, you need to do this in order for the new stuff to appear that you have put into the template. I just had to do this with one that I was working on, everything was black but then when I did this everything appeared as it was supposed to. Hope this helps!

A 13 minute commercial for motion array… Hope they’re kissing your butt for doing this. What you didn’t talk about, once it’s downloaded how do you get it into resolve and then how do you call it up? Like isn’t that the most important part?
Well you do a video about that and I will probably buy it. And I wish you would do another video about moving premiere Pro into resolve… I still find it to be somewhat of a hassle. Sometimes it works perfectly sometimes it doesn’t work at all. Probably me, not the program.
I’ve actually never used Adobe Premiere before. When I was looking at video programs, I already was paying for the photography plan from Adobe, and still do, but I didn’t wanna pay more for the entire suite. That’s when I found Resolve for free! 😜😁👍
Trust me, you’re not missing anything. I usde Premier Pro for years and years and although it does work and it does have some great features… The performance absolutely sucks. That’s what first got me to try resolve. Performance wise Resolve is so so so much better. And I would still rather use after affects than Fusion any day… To me fusion is a cluster fuck… after affects just makes more sense to me. But I am slowly trying to learn a little bit about fusion so I don’t always have to jump into after effects. But for my work I also need Photoshop and illustrator. I could be wrong, but resolve does not take PSDs? That’s a bit of a concern. But I love resolve and I love so many of your videos. And if I need to do something complicated in audio I don’t use fair light, I jump into Logic Pro x. But for basic stuff fair light is perfectly fine.

I am trying to add macros into Davinci Resolve but everytime I download anything from this website and try to install them the edit file is not there and I can't find the effects, generators, titles, or transitions files. Please help! I reinstalled DR but no luck! I am using Windows 10. Here are the steps I followed: 1.Program Files 2.Blackmagic Design 3.Davinci Resolve 4.Fusion 5.Templates 6. Edits (This file can not be found) 7.Effects, Generators, Titles, Transitions. (These can not be found)
They should give you instructions to download with it. If it’s just video clips, audio, motion graphics, just drag and drop it in. Things like presets, templates, etc you’ll have to follow the instructions. It’s not too hard.

Hi! The overlays are not working? It should be just a video file that you put in a new track and then you can adjust the blend mode if necessary. What is it doing when you try to work with the files?
Hi thanks for reply. I am trying to add the template in davinchi 18 and for some reason it shows off line data or a blank black screen in my timeline . I tried the same way you showed in the video but not working for me. I think the motion array is not compatible with 18 yet. Just purchased last night .
Hi! So for the .DRA files you don’t actually add them into your project, it’s its own project file. So you have to open them up through the project manager. If you right click and choose restore project archive then go select the folder that has the .DRA at the end. You can build the template inside that file, then export it when you’re done and bring in that exported video clip into your project that you’re working on. I’ll have a video coming out about it in the next few weeks, how do use the templates.

Is there any company that allows you to buy graphics, transitions etc on a one off basis, rather than having to subscribe? Or maybe smaller, more affordable packs for small projects. Any help on that would be great!
Hi! I'm not sure of any similar companies with that type of payment services, but you can probably find creators that offer bundles for you to purchase that have transitions, effects, etc. For example, I've got a pack of EQ presets. You can alway pay for one month of a service is that's all you need I suppose. I think most services make it the most cost effective to join for a year.
@@JasonYadlovski I regularly experience errors in presets so they cannot be used. Unfortunately, it gives a lot of waste of time. There are many who are simply not made well enough. Last I just wanted to try was from Enduro - "Text Messages KIT for" The error I got there came by rendering. "Render job failed as the current clip could not be processed. The fusion composition on the current frame or clip could not be processed successfully. This has been tested on both powerful desktop PC and Mac probook M1 with the same error. This is what I unfortunately often experience there with Motion Array :(
Interesting, thanks for your feedback. Are you running the free version of the DaVinci Resolve or the studio version? Have you tried reaching out to motion array and did they respond? You can also try reaching out to Artist through their website and explain the situation, since they own motion array.

I have often already spent too much time on the faulty things they have on the page, so I can not bear to spend more time on it. I found another solution. However, I use the site a lot and test a lot of :)

motion array isnt unlimited downloads as after the first 20 or so then each d/l has a captcha on it - so the unlimited d/l is actually restricted downloads, apparently to protect their creators. Motion array is advertising falsely - i signed up after watching this video and regret it.
Strange, I haven’t tried to download more than 20 items per day but that doesn’t seem right that you are limited. Which account do you have? Have you reached out to them and told them you weren’t happy or satisfied? What did they say if you did? I’d say try that first and if you don’t get a response, let me know and I can try reaching out to them as well.
@@JasonYadlovski i signed up to try the 1 month package and they basically said to not "warehouse" the assets - ie basically only download them for immediate use , not as you said in your video to download as much as you like.
Did you try to ask for your money back and or cancel your subscription? How many assets are you trying to download? Any chance you can break it up into separate days? I’ll try reaching out to my contact and asking the question about having a monthly package but not having unlimited downloads.

They used to be a usa company but were bought over by an israeli outfit and are super shady about giving out their office address which is a PO BOX. @@JasonYadlovski They are still black even after clearing cache. Do I have to reupload them or do anything else except for delete all render cache for the project they are on?
As long as you put the clips in the proper timelines within the template and cleared the render cache, that’s all you should have to do. Are you sure your clips are in the right spot and then you’re trying to view it in the final timeline? Tell me what template you’re using and I’ll download it and take a look when I get a chance.
Not all of it is free but you can have a free account and you get select assets for free. I had a free account for years and it seem to work fine for me.
@@JasonYadlovski I am using davinchi resolve 18 today I downgrade it by 17 . I loose all my projects on which I was working on. Anyways . I am not able to make it happen on 17 ether. Graphics are working like RUclips subscribed thing . But templates and plugging are not working .
Sounds like it doesn't have anything to do with the items from Motion Array. Maybe something go messed up with the install/reinstall process. Did you backup the database at all before upgrading or before downgrading? What happens when you try to use them? Have you tried clearing the cache files?
@@JasonYadlovski i think the challenge is. if you are an expert at davinci resolve and know how all assets fit together, it may seem straightforward. if, like me, you are not, it is a jumbled mess. i think adding content like titles would be something at least relatively straightforward like importing LUTS. but it is one of the worst user pipelines i've ever seen. motion array should be ashamed for not calling out how difficult it is to get their animated assets to work in davinci resolve (in my case 18.5). the tutorials they include are a joke.

I found Envato elements a better option 🙂...it is bit cheaper and offers more options too ..and most importantly offers good royalty to its creator

How fix it really it's a big problem
You can always try color space transform node in the color tab. Then you can assign it to what you want to be on the export.

Good morning im new to editing and 55 years old (teaching an old girl new tricks) could you possibly point me in the direction of how to store in a bin motion array overlays , it wont let me drag and drop says fusion bla bla thanks on advance
I am trying to add macros into Davinci Resolve but everytime I download anything from this website and try to install them the edit file is not there and I can't find the effects, generators, titles, or transitions files. Please help! I reinstalled DR but no luck!
I am using Windows 10.
Here are the steps I followed:
1.Program Files
2.Blackmagic Design
3.Davinci Resolve
4.Fusion
5.Templates
6. Edits (This file can not be found)
7.Effects, Generators, Titles, Transitions. (These can not be found)
Okay I just bought motion array literally like 30 minutes ago but how do I put them on my timeline in davinci resolve 17??
They should give you instructions to download with it. If it’s just video clips, audio, motion graphics, just drag and drop it in. Things like presets, templates, etc you’ll have to follow the instructions. It’s not too hard.
@@JasonYadlovski okay thanks, I’ll try. I kind of new to using a laptop pc. So sometimes things don’t let me drag and drop but maybe I’m doing it wrong

Hi! The overlays are not working? It should be just a video file that you put in a new track and then you can adjust the blend mode if necessary. What is it doing when you try to work with the files?
Hi thanks for reply. I am trying to add the template in davinchi 18 and for some reason it shows off line data or a blank black screen in my timeline . I tried the same way you showed in the video but not working for me. I think the motion array is not compatible with 18 yet. Just purchased last night .
Have you tried deleting the render cache? That usually helps.
I have been struggling to use Motion Array with Davinci 18 and have yet to find it "easy" and their Help Center is just bad.
Some of the templates are tricky. I use tons of overlays from them and they are super easy to use.

Hey jason, I totally get macros and .setting files but find the .dra and .drp files impossible to get into my projects. Can you help with this.
Hi! So for the .DRA files you don’t actually add them into your project, it’s its own project file. So you have to open them up through the project manager. If you right click and choose restore project archive then go select the folder that has the .DRA at the end. You can build the template inside that file, then export it when you’re done and bring in that exported video clip into your project that you’re working on. I’ll have a video coming out about it in the next few weeks, how do use the templates.

Is there any company that allows you to buy graphics, transitions etc on a one off basis, rather than having to subscribe? Or maybe smaller, more affordable packs for small projects. Any help on that would be great!
Hi! I'm not sure of any similar companies with that type of payment services, but you can probably find creators that offer bundles for you to purchase that have transitions, effects, etc. For example, I've got a pack of EQ presets. You can alway pay for one month of a service is that's all you need I suppose. I think most services make it the most cost effective to join for a year.
It's just a shame there are many errors in the presets that they offer on the motion array :(

@@JasonYadlovski I regularly experience errors in presets so they cannot be used. Unfortunately, it gives a lot of waste of time. There are many who are simply not made well enough.
Last I just wanted to try was from Enduro - "Text Messages KIT for"
The error I got there came by rendering.
"Render job failed as the current clip could not be processed.
The fusion composition on the current frame or clip could not be processed successfully.
This has been tested on both powerful desktop PC and Mac probook M1 with the same error.
This is what I unfortunately often experience there with Motion Array :(
Interesting, thanks for your feedback. Are you running the free version of the DaVinci Resolve or the studio version? Have you tried reaching out to motion array and did they respond? You can also try reaching out to Artist through their website and explain the situation, since they own motion array.

I do not have time to complain to them about it. I have often already spent too much time on the faulty things they have on the page, so I can not bear to spend more time on it. I found another solution.
However, I use the site a lot and test a lot of :)

All of the files in this video are just basic overlays, drag, and drop into resolve.
motion array isnt unlimited downloads as after the first 20 or so then each d/l has a captcha on it - so the unlimited d/l is actually restricted downloads, apparently to protect their creators.
Motion array is advertising falsely - i signed up after watching this video and regret it.
Strange, I haven’t tried to download more than 20 items per day but that doesn’t seem right that you are limited. Which account do you have? Have you reached out to them and told them you weren’t happy or satisfied? What did they say if you did? I’d say try that first and if you don’t get a response, let me know and I can try reaching out to them as well.
@@JasonYadlovski i signed up to try the 1 month package and they basically said to not "warehouse" the assets - ie basically only download them for immediate use , not as you said in your video to download as much as you like.

Did you try to ask for your money back and or cancel your subscription? How many assets are you trying to download? Any chance you can break it up into separate days? I’ll try reaching out to my contact and asking the question about having a monthly package but not having unlimited downloads.

They used to be a usa company but were bought over by an israeli outfit and are super shady about giving out their office address which is a PO BOX.
The customer service response is - dont download so much.

I opened over 15 templates, all of them with black screen. Waste of time.
You have to delete the render cache for the project, then it should start to show your footage.
Templates appearing completely blank
Have you deleting the render cache? They will look black until you do that from what I’ve found.

@@JasonYadlovski They are still black even after clearing cache. Do I have to reupload them or do anything else except for delete all render cache for the project they are on?
As long as you put the clips in the proper timelines within the template and cleared the render cache, that’s all you should have to do. Are you sure your clips are in the right spot and then you’re trying to view it in the final timeline? Tell me what template you’re using and I’ll download it and take a look when I get a chance.
It's Not Free at all.
Not all of it is free but you can have a free account and you get select assets for free. I had a free account for years and it seem to work fine for me.
Motion array is a scam. nothing works.

@@JasonYadlovski I am using davinchi resolve 18 today I downgrade it by 17 . I loose all my projects on which I was working on. Anyways . I am not able to make it happen on 17 ether. Graphics are working like RUclips subscribed thing . But templates and plugging are not working .
Sounds like it doesn't have anything to do with the items from Motion Array. Maybe something go messed up with the install/reinstall process. Did you backup the database at all before upgrading or before downgrading? What happens when you try to use them? Have you tried clearing the cache files?
@@JasonYadlovski i think the challenge is. if you are an expert at davinci resolve and know how all assets fit together, it may seem straightforward. if, like me, you are not, it is a jumbled mess. i think adding content like titles would be something at least relatively straightforward like importing LUTS. but it is one of the worst user pipelines i've ever seen. motion array should be ashamed for not calling out how difficult it is to get their animated assets to work in davinci resolve (in my case 18.5).
the tutorials they include are a joke.
