I went into the cinema to watch this film having seen all the terrilble reviews and thinking this isnt going to be much good is it? Well it was good, it was brilliant, it was absolutely fantastic and I won't ever forget the mark it left on me. I can only imagine that the negative reviews are from those not blessed enough to be a parent. If you aren't a loving parent......you won't get it. Horror films dont usually push buttons of such emotion and pull those heartstrings. This film didnt have many jump scares.....it didnt need them. This film was about parents and their beloved children and if you aint a parent you just wont understand. 1 of the best films ever. Heartbreaking and an emotional rollercoaster. An amazing well done to all, particularly the children and Leo whos a class act always.
Exorcist fan here! Even if the film is not that great and my heart breaks for Katherine :( but the kids did an amazing job along with the rest of the cast, the production and the make up was also top notch! I think its a much better than the actual sequel from 1977 Exorcist II: The Heretic

The girls just don't look scary at all. Regan was terrifying. She had that skeletal brow bridge prosthetic that enhanced her naturally unnerving facial features.
So what about the pastor did he deserved to die as well? And as a Christian you supposed to know these things even before deciding to touch an demonic person and I don’t think most are true but I do know that it’s accurate about the devil tricking you !

This movie doesn't follow the conception from William Peter Blatty. The Exorcist, and Legion were psychological thrillers. They were corners of the same universe.
I really feel bad for the actors, you can really tell they're giving their ALL. But yeah the structure and cheap scares made this a mess of a movie....I hope the next ones better 😟🙏🤞
I feel so bad for these two young actresses. They were the only good thing in this abomination of a movie and their careers are probably gonna be over before theyve begun because of it. Hopefully they are given a chance and not shunned because David Gordon Green is a complete moron.

The priest was aware. Remember he backed out in the first place for the sole reason of "people dying on both sides of possession" as he said.
