  • I really hate my job. Working 3rd shift sucks and it's time to make a change. There has to be more to life and a better way to make a living than factory work. When your life stinks its time to change your life

I was looking for this comment from someone.
Due to various injuries that nearly killed me in junior high school.. My work carrier was short-lived. I felt like this guy worse and worse as time clicked on.
I was doing physical labor and I would have never stopped but day by day I was hurting worse.
The difference between his statement and what I was thinking is in contrast with each other.
He did factory work and indoors I presume.
I was outdoors and on the job site hours before the sun came up and not going home until after the sun goes down.
His testimony speaks volumes about indoor jobs.
I can relate to the mental anguish he felt due to my brief but many indoor attempts on jobs and realized that it's going to be physically challenging from there. Indoor jobs are the reason why we have free education.. It's a legal form of a head start training and was intended for mass production to enrich the USA.
I was in my 20s at the time I was pondering this.
As sad as it is it's unspoken but known fact.
If you are unable to do the desired outdoor physical employment that keeps you happy mentally.
You're statistically going to be him in x amount of time.

    • @MadDragon75
      @MadDragon75 3 года назад +1

I just realized that I'm sitting outside one of said indoor attempts.
And I looked this video up after watching someone after I heard him yell Phuk this gate!
I looked up and realized it was somebody that worked at the local Cabinet Shop across the street and it kind of struck me as funny and I started to laugh until I realized that when he started moving the work truck it was doing this bucking bronco maneuver like transmission failure.
      That was at 8 p.m.
      Quitting time is 5 p.m..

Actually most jobs will eventually become automated. It's called technological unemployment and is happening already. It will get worse as computers and AI becomes more readily available and less expensive. The problem is we live in a monetary market system based on personal responsibility and greed.
The money in existence is only a fraction of total debt so everyone is screwing each other over trying to earn enough to live, and the system is set up in such a way that if you have money to begin with, it's much much easier to accumulate more wealth.
Check out Money as Debt 2, and Zeitgeist Moving Forward. They explain everything. Good luck.

I first watched this video in August 2018 a couple of days before I handed my resignation to my boss. I was leaving 16 year old job; it was one of the most emotional things I did in my life and I had no plan or a other job waiting for me.
I wandered in a state of flux for 6 months not sure what to do next, and what job would take a 40 year old warehouse worker with a bad back. I stumbled into a business idea thanks to my sister asking for help in ideas for a party for her boss's daughter. I built her a cheap photo booth for $200. Even though it was cheap looking, people still liked it. I still remember the moment in my head when it clicked inside me that I could make a business out of it. I immediately used my tax returns (I had $3k coming in Feb 2019)and I maxed my credit card (5k limit) and bought a professional looking booth and put some ads on Facebook. A week goes by and hear nothing.. then 2 weeks nothing again.... I'm starting to think I did a horrible mistake. then one day I'm checking my spam folder and I noticed 7 people asked me about renting my booth; 2 days after I posted my ad. My email client thought it was spam so it hid it for me. I was able to book 1 person out of the 7. I got paid $700 for 1 days work and I got 2 more bookings from 2 guests at the same party. Short story; I'm finishing 2019 with 50 customers and 30k in profits and I have 20 customers booked for 2020.
Believe in your self guys; you will make it out too. It will be hard and emotionally but there is a light at the end of tunnel.

I wish we had more like you. Doing the same thing. I actually thank God that I'm not working a job right now. Been doing some freelance work, but it doesn't pay the bills. Starting an online business takes a lot of work and funding. Whenever I decide to get some new job to finance this, I never end up doing anything but working. Makes you miserable. Used to make me drink until I quit drinking. Once I quit drinking, two things happened: I realized I hated living in New Orleans and I decided I couldn't work as a cook anymore. I mean my SPIRIT couldn't take it. Sometimes being in your right mind might not be a good thing. It''s not like I drank when I was at work, but I knew I could go home and get DRUNK! You see, I have to do something else now, and I feel your pain, man. Hang in there and stay strong. Oh, and actually do it this time! Start your business!

Not like a zombie , depressed and dead inside . So people : QUIT YOUR FUCKING NIGHT JOB!!

All i got to say is if you guys hate your job and suffer from depression from it just quit and do something you would like to do, I guarantee you that job doesn’t fucking care about you they would replace you the minute something happends, im my job a coworker died from corona and no one knew (until common friends let us know whaf happened) and the next 2 days they got replaced like nothing

I hope you were able to get out of that shitty job and find meaning in your life, Jeff. I’m 27 years old and ever since I was young I thought that striving to become rich was the path to happiness, even if I hated what I was doing because, as many people around me would say, “work isn’t supposed to be fun, that’s why it’s called work.” This year I finally snapped out of it and said to myself “fuck that.” I’m not a money making machine. I realized that having money as my ultimate goal was akin to placing shackles on the intellectual creativity of my mind. I’m now taking the right steps to seek freedom instead of money, and by freedom I mean being able to provide for myself while doing something I enjoy. Freedom first. Money second. Always. Thank you for your video. More people need to wake up and realize the traditional system is a trap.

Hey thanks you are so right. You figured it out a lot sooner than I did. It actually took me another year to just walk away from that job. Now I do Uber and sell stuff on eBay and Amazon. I not make about 60% of what I was making at the factory but I’m so much happier and I am way less stressed. April will b 2 full years since I quit. I still struggle but it is soooo worth it not to have to answer to anyone but myself. Just as long as you continue to push yourself things will get better and better. Keep up the good work and good luck

And this right here is the reason why I'm glad I started a small business in trucking. Spending a month on the road and collecting fat checks every week during that period and spending 3 weeks at home, with nobody climbing my ass about being home for too long. I won't lie though. This month is a little tough compared to last month. Freights are slower because it's the beginning of the year and my truck is due for some repairs here and there. But its ok. That's how business works. Good moments and bad moments. But at least i manage to take back a little of my freedom

Smart man. I finally wised up last year and got out on my own. I sell online and I do some Uber driving to keep up my cash flow. You are right, struggling is a part of the process and too many of us are afraid to embrace it. But those of us that do understand the satisfaction of not answering to anyone.

jeff salata that's awesome to hear from you. It is hard at the start, but worth it in the end. I guess it's human nature for us to get so complacent in a job and tell ourselves "you know What? It's paying the bills. So this isnt so bad". We love stability and security. But truth be told, we are just a bunch of rats trying to see who can run the fastest. Glad to see that u are taking that next step with your life. I hope all goes well with your side business. As long as you can take back some of your freedom....even a small bit... That's what matters most. And it feels good to not have to answer to folks. The only people I answer to is the IRS, and the D.O.T. officers. But that's it. Nobody is breathing down my neck. I hadn't won the lottery but this is the next best thing!

Now I'm in Groundhog Day hell with a bunch or morons. My days off are over so fast but my shifts last for ever. It's making me so miserable

Bro I feel you I’ve been working in a factory job for a month and I’m gonna loose it . I have a job interview in business management and I am gonna straight up jump.
Even if I don’t get it I’ll find something else cause I feel like I’ll either get fired or quit I already got a disciplinary saying I might get fired if I don’t like the job or something, the same day I got a call for the interview. I am not lasting in a factory I swear.
