This is why being debt free/financially independent is so important. It gives you the ability to do what YOU want to do.
Bingo! Escape plan 101
Exactly
Yesssss!!! Exactly!! 🎯🎯🎯
Being debt free gives you true freedom, it gives you choices, options, especially when you have F U money 🤑💰. Lol 😂😆

Never will I work a stressful job again, the money doesn't pay for the health you're losing.
Well said
being 20 hearing this doesn’t make sense if a job pays me 60$ an hour i’ll gladly be stressed doing whatever
So what exactly is a non-stressful job? I’d like to find it
@@user-hn9qg5qm3o Let me talk to you like a dog for 10 hrs a day for a bit above average wage and you will understand
And what job is not stressful?? I would like to know one.
Depression always hits me on my way to work.
Every day smh
You will find better job
If u have experience
High salary also
Just quit mine and couldn’t be happier
One key point was not even mentioned: Develop a plan on how to get out of that environment and find something better..
this! people don’t realize it’s way more than just being finically stable… if you aren’t mentally stable life is bound to beat you up lol
Its true. I had a client so toxic it got to the point I woke up Mon- Fri with an upset stomach followed by barfing. Then crawled to my laptop to log in & smile for an 8:30am DAILY morning meeting. Got to the point I couldn’t work and had to take leave. Never again.
I’ve had that happen to me
This hits hard. My job is absolutely destroying my mental and physical health. I have a goal of continuing to push thru so I can be debt free very soon and then have options.
I imagine a lot of people are hating their jobs the past year.
My BF had a toxic job. The pay and benefits were off the charts, AKA golden handcuffs. he was miserable and I think he has PTSD from it. Do not, I repeat do not put yourself in that situation, have a escape plan. -Alina
Where did your BF work at?
@@antonioisacommonname6550 A large telecommunications company .
Never put money over your mental health!
Omg you're a good gf
Make him switch to good work environment
Mental health is important
i hate my job and have pretty much all those symptoms-i’m planning my escape
I always get the Sunday night jitters because I know what is waiting for me on Monday morning...mayhem and foolishness 😒 🙄 😑
This is so true 😂🤣
Take the time to listen to your body as it's the only thing that will be honest with you. As much as you can lie to yourself, your body won't.
There is no one currently employed by my company that makes you think, “ If they were in charge things would be different “. Every day it’s just another episode of I Can’t Believe these People make more than I do
People are stressed because of fear period.
And anger.
@Chelle MNB maybe it’s like how many people feel that introverts are fearful. No.
We have to eat even if it means hating our jobs.
It’s a double-edged sword. That which is keeping you alive, is also killing you, even if it’s by the fact that it’s a sitting job or dangerous job. It would be best, if everyone can escape. Problem is, everyone is behind in raises, by about 30-40 years.
I used to have severe migraines at one of my job years ago. The second I quit. The migraines stopped.
WHEN HATEING MY JOB STARTS GETTING ME TOO NERVOUS I LOOK FOR A DIFFERENT JOB, THATS ALWAYS WORKED FOR ME
I never have the ⚽️ 🏀 🏈 to do that ! Sadly
@@sohd2283 you need to before your work gets you
It's only a job . Your HEALTH is number one priority . with out your health you cannot create wealth .
@C NB you sign on the Dole and that pays for your food and shelter until Wednesday 🤔🤦 when you're fit and healthy 😜
But without money you will have no health…can’t afford doctors without a job/insurance…it’s sickening how the two are connected
The problem is when people are depending on you to make money. You have to choose between your own happiness and someone else's
This definitely sounds like what enlisted service members go through in the military.
I JUST quit my job because of most of these things. I hated it there, i was the youngest and it wasnt the best experience..
Ya I’m toughing out my high paying shitty job right now in order become debt free, but once I’m debt free, I’m going to switch careers, even if it pays a little less I am going to find something that I want to do
Some of my coworkers and my boss is toxic!
mine too smh
All bosses r toxic
Just ignore
And don't take anything personally
I’ve been getting anxiety just thinking about work. I’m in public education so y’all already know. I need a change but I have no other skills and I might have to start at the bottom of the chain again wherever I go. I need ideas
I needed to hear this 🙏🏽
Thank you for this! ❤️
This is why I'm self employed!
OMG, you guys are right on..
I've never been on meds, but I'm on blood pressure pills now 🙄
Best way to make us like our jobs again? Money. Give us more money.
Do what you are Born / Like to do, and the money will come! ( don’t chase money )
@@martycech5844 Sorry, that sentiment doesn't work for most 30 somethings and younger. I hate working. I have no "dream job." It all sucks, and none of us are paid enough.
This list fits me
x2
4:10 to 4:30 is exactly my situation. Well said John.
sleeping too much or too little or eating too much or too little....so everyone is sick of their job by that logic
Exactly!
Just quit! Everything isn’t always about money. Your mental health is more important. It will be more
Damaging if you stay.
Maybe. Maybe things are better, as per all of those quitting, in the past few months. But, precarious economic times continue and no one would’ve taken that advice, during the recession.
Mental health care cost money.
When your not you grab a Snickers lol 😅
Someone in the background in a corner snickering while they have a Snickers lol 😅
It can also lead to autoimmune disorders. It did for me.
I quit my job to get another one which is less stressful but less money for me. Im happy but does that mean Im not ambitious for taking a bigger job?
Absolutely not! What’s that saying about sacrificing our health for wealth and then spending that money to get our health back?
@@ew2645 thank you. I was lowkey depressed in the previous job. Always worried about deadlines and all. But now I work in a less stressful environment with more routine work. Thank you
@@mindoablues thank you! I cant help but question if Im not hardworking enough. It resulted in me constantly comparing myself
@@ducksauce0074 it’s natural to compare ourselves to our peers. I hope you will realize one day is that who you are and what you have to offer is enough.
The irony of Ken talking about jobs that make you sick while he is clearly sick himself.
Right? Was this a meta message to Dave??
I wasn't sure but it does seem he has gained some weight, his voice sounds raspy as well. 😥
Everyone who clowns on FIRE saying retirement is boring is just not creative enough or doesn't have any passions and interests other than work
Honestly, these are essentially just the signs of depression.
keep physically healthy
The bosses want obedient workers period, and competent
But not too competent where you start to question the boss
I told me supervisor I only have x amount of hours in a day to do what they want me to do, and that it isn’t working that they keep dumping more onto my workload. My supervisor made a bs excuse and said we’ll I can’t hire more help because that means I’d have to hire more help for my other 30 facilities I manage too. And I can’t have that many extra people under me.
Well that doesn’t sound like my problem but it is a terrible excuse and shows weak leadership that they don’t care about burning their employees out and standing up to their bosses that walk all over everyone.
The worst is a job that doesn't pay you for nothing close to the expected output, all while continuing to add business and not staff adequately. Not experiencing these symptoms but burnout is real.
1099 alleviates all of this
If you know, You know.
Does anyone know what exactly happens when Dave hits that button on the desk? I used to think it ended the call but he often talks as if the person can still hear him so I would assume that they can. Does it completely mute the person or does it just take their voice off the air while Dave can still hear them in his headset? or something else maybe?
I’m pretty sure it just muted the person. I don’t think he can hear the caller after the presses it but the caller can still hear Dave.
@@Raditado Ya I think you're right
It shocks the person on the other end with electricity- so they listen?
@@GardenerEarthGuy U might be on to something there
Sh!t. Time for me to make some changes.
Ken Coleman sounds like he is sick right now.
