Raspberry vandal lol 😂 R'reet Tony Speaking of raspberries! I sowed some raspberry seeds this afternoon, Had em in the fridge for a fortnight & just sown half a dozen in pots, Hopefully by next Spring they will be sprouting & I'll have some soft fruit bushes in the future.
Onion bed looks very neat & tidy mate, I'm going to have to get some blood fish & bone meself, A trip to poundland for some of their 1 quid a box stuff me thinks for next season.
Slugs are a bane here too, I'm utterly sick to death of em. Crack on Mate, I'm off to get us a chippy tea tonight. 🍴

Well after clearing out my green house I decided to move my little veggie patches today to somewhere else, I emptied them and went to move them and they fell to pieces lol , rotted away, managed to saved a few . Got the wood so I'm going to build a new 8ft x4 bed there instead :) , building up small ready for my plot if I ever get one lol , thanks for the motivation whilst off work this week

Hi Tony, Those onions are like soldiers on the parade ground stood to attention, SLUGS, I go out early in the morning with the torch and pick-em off then try to teach them to swim It doesn't work the swim bit I mean, they are the biggest pest this time of year, I'm due to put my broad bean plants out in about 2 weeks time and the beds where they will go is crawling with them, Take care Tony and stay safe, will the new restrictions cause you problems.

SLUGS ARE THE DEVILS OWN PESTILANCE Ronald... Cant stand the Bar Stewards .. lol...
Thanks for the comment on my onion army pal.. We are all about the aesthetics down in Eden mate...
I don't think we are as yet affected by the tear 3 enforcement changes, but you never know... The only thing we need to watch is going on each others plots for a sit down and a brew... that's frowned upon at the moment pal..

    That's a great teaching video.
I use slug pellets sparingly because they are just iron and my land is high in iron anyway

Ah thanks for doing that - Hopefully I’ve got a month before the frost and my garlic shoots are coming up - I’ve some grass cuttings on the garlic to keep it warm but I think it’s too soon to cover the onions as no shoot yet - where do you get the blue tubes from.

Dear Tony - you don't need to apologise for the pellets in the controlled and minimal way you're using them. It's going to take me another year to get organically -based controls on the little darlings on my plot. They've more or less devastated my young spinach. I'll not be using pellets on the beds but I think I'll try a shotgun! Best wishes to Wigan - Paul

Varying sizes Craig.. The bog one you see here is 4 foot x 16 foot or 1.2m x 5m ish... This one is only 5inches deep so technically isn't known as a raised bed so to speak, it's a sectional bed ... a pedantic get would say that a raised bed is any bed over 18 inches deep.. but I'm NOT a pedantic get.. LOL :-)
