Just got fitted for these yesterday, outperformed the p790 and 245 pretty soundly!
Awesome looking iron. I look forward to checking it out soon.
Except for the big cavity in the hosel which spoils the looks.
3.5 degrees less loft than the i230… almost a full club stronger! Good reason to be longer 🤯🤯 (4 degrees for the 7 iron)
I want to see the i530 standard spec compared to the i525 power spec. Honestly, this will determine if the technology is really producing more distance. I just looked at the lofts...
There's a Retro Spec loft too. I got the Gap and Pitching Wedge in the Retro Spec, the rest of the set as Standard. The 4 iron goes miles compared to my old i20 irons one.
TAKE MY MONEY!!!!!
I have the i230's and my only complaint is the 5 iron is less forgiving than the 6 Iron and I need it to be the inverse of this. I wanted to Combo the i530 in the 5 Iron and possibly 4 Iron as stated in the ending of the video. What would be the Spec? Retro loft to slot in ?
I plan on doing the same thing...while awkward, I was thinking of standard lofting the i530 6 iron as my i230 5 iron replacement. Then the i530 5 iron would be my i230 4 iron replacement.
What actually happens to ball flight when you bend them to retro spec?
Looks like a P 790. As a PING player, I expect more from you. You were here first, LEAD.
what a stupid comment. The dynamic stress analysis shows the blade pivoting around the ridge on the rear of the club head. That is the only feature comparable to a P790 and it's clearly a functional element of this design, not aesthetic. Other than that they have different surface finishes, ribbed section on the ping vs gloss and satin finishes on the p790. They're both hollow body designs targeting a similar ability of golfer, what on earth did you expect?! Go faster stripes and maybe a bell and whistle?!
Agree with Gripit. What a ridiculous post.
@@hadesignite You don't understand much do you.
@@wks4511agreed! This will be the iron of 24!
@@briansmith2125 well, as a Design Engineer with various patents to my name in aerospace, automotive, commercial and medical markets....I would say I understand a hell of a lot more than you when it comes to product development.
Ordered mine - they felt brilliant in the Ping testing bay and have ordered a set - fingers crossed I get them next week.
