This is a good version of the song but people are so ridiculous to say this is how it should have sounded because its how paramore sounds, there is literally not 1 single paramore song that sounds that instrumentally heavy, this is more in this moment than paramore, but surely any body who has heard paramore's ain't it fun would realise they were never going to be making anything like songs off all we know is falling, riot or brand new eyes ever again when their biggest hit to date was as pop as they'd ever got,
most of the self titled album was a massive distance away from what people consider 'their sound', fans will always be disappointed when their favourite band doesn't make the kind of music that made them love the band in the first place but after 13 years and multiple line up changes (never mind the fact josh was one of the main songwriters & musical writers) for people to expect them to still be pushing out songs like pressure, emergency or misery business......your absolutely deluded and simply refusing to go on a journey with a band in the directions they see THEIR band going in,

It's a mixed bag of feelings for most people I guess, I don't mind their new sound but every time I see the name Paramore now, I can't help but associate it with a band that doesn't exist anymore.
So every time I hear something new from "them" I involuntary become disappointed, then I have to mentally take and erase all the meaning that Paramore the name has, and then just go "Oh it's the new Hayley Williams thing", and then I can enjoy again.
But you're right, this is heavier on the band part than some of the heavier Paramore songs, but overall it isn't, as the vocals and chord progression is super pop, which means that you have to go heavier in other aspects to come across like it's punk or rock.
I think they did a good job capturing the essence of how Paramore sounded.
I have a feeling Paramore would be proud of this cover. So well executed

As a fan of Paramore for over a decade, it saddens me that some people are talking trash about how they sound now. I, myself, isn't the same as I was before... I grew up... I changed. So, why deprive the band from changing? Anyway, I appreciate this cover, it sound awesome.

That was fun! Not Paramore's best song but it's catchy and you two clearly had fun shooting this. It should be a rule that every time a new Paramore single is released, it gets a TeraBrite cover. Wish you guys could go back and do some older ones though. Maybe at least a WTK/Nirvana type medley? I'm so glad that you're back doing more music more often. New music from you, especially a song full of upbeat energy, is definately a welcome addition to an otherwise crappy day for me. Thank you.

Idk why but to me it seems like Paramore's new song suits both of your new hair colors, haha. Loved the amazing cover you guys pulled off in a day, as always, specially the last chorus, I thought that one sounded so sick I just wished you guys used that rhytm more throughout the song though.
