I worked as a federal civil servant for 40 years. The law reads, "or appearance of wrong doing". Our bosses stressed this law over and over. Yet the Supreme Court, ideally objective, ignores the law.

The inverted flag incident had nothing to do with Jan 6 or the stolen election. It was a result of a dispute with a neighbor. Even so, the inverted flag is appropriate. If a SCOTUS justice can't peacefully respect the differing opinions of his neighbor, do you think he's going to respect the differing opinions of hundreds of millions of Americans? Alito (and Thomas because of the motor coach bribery) ought to be removed immediately. And if conservatives refuse to hold them accountable, expand SCOTUS from 9 to 19.
Different plans are now being made to deal with them and their problems they've caused. At least we can be comfortable knowing expansion is a thing that will happen. 6 - 3 politically divided by a partisan majority won't last long and they know it.

Members of Republican administrations, compared to Democrats, provide the vast majority (98%+) of indictments, guilty pleas, and criminal convictions. It might have something to do with his failure at his “manly duties”?
I doubt impeachment is feasible; the bar in the senate is just too high. Instead, dems should aim to win 2024, and then pack the court with at least 6 new justices - including with young ideologues. Two of these should explicitly and publicly (ideally during their confirmation) explicitly swear to vote contrary to specifically Alito and Thomas. We may not be able to impeach openly treasonous judges due to flaws in the constitution, but we can render them impotent.
If the supreme court is packed and congress passes appropriate laws, we may also be able to criminally prosecute them, but I suspect we've got more important fish to fry at that point especially since doing so would likely be ethically dubious. And the MAGA damage runs deep; best to focus on the systemic problems rather than vengeance.

The non controversial justices need to expose the criminal acts within SCOTUS or admit being complicit to the unconstitutional and treasonous group.
I know when i commit criminal acts at home, i let all of my coworkers know.

We need to be able to hold even these crooked Supreme Court Justices accountable! Blatant disregard for proper decorum. Blatant sign that they can’t be fair and impartial. If even a juror isn’t picked for that reason, then these judges aren’t appropriate for these high positions. Period!

They took an OATH and had Code/Rules of Ethics as Judges prior to being appointed to SCOTUS so that oath and code/rules of ethics should STILL APPLY to them.

You are correct, there was absolutely no distress in the Alito family over several days that required ANY assistance. The distress implicit to the upside down national flag was entirely hypothetical just like Alito’s views on absolute immunity. The usage of the upside down flag for the broadcasting of a politically extreme viewpoint is a gross bastardization of its meaning. Next Trump will appoint hoodlums to wear military style uniforms to wipe out the 60% of Americans who voted against him.
