Yuka should do a Scott genius mullet. Not a high pivot design but has a flip chip for adjustability with the setup and is designed for either 27 or 29 wheels. I’ve had mine for a year now and absolutely love it. Not to mention Scott’s twin lock system, she’ll be passing you on the climbs like you wouldn’t believe

IBIS HD5 is a perfect bike to Mullet. I reduced the front travel to 150mm and it kept the geometry the same as if it was a 27.5 bike. Great channel. Dig the new Rig!
For mullets, check out Guerilla Gravity. Their bikes are built on a common frame platform and they sell seatstay kits for easy conversion from one model to another. This also makes it an easy conversion to a mullet setup. Depending on the travel she would be looking for you could go with a Megatrail/Smash setup or a Trailpistol/Shred Dogg. They are great bikes. I currently have a Megatrail that I absolutely love and I am planning on mulleting in the next season or so.
I am sure you know you could do the garbaruk mode to your rear derailleur to get the ability to run an 11spd 10-46t(or the rare 10-44t) cassette. The mod makes the GX a little lighter & a bit more durable with better cogs. So weigh is a like 20 grams more but you save your legs on those really steep climbs. Worth a look. Love the work!
Supper sick bike man, I have a suggestion for Yuka it is a Specialized status they are hard to get but they are made to run mullet and clime pretty well. I have one personally and I love it. With 160 mm frame with short chain stays and a low stand over hight perfect for a shorter person

Your Cassatt one affect how your suspension works is actually your chain but that’s what you had the idler pulley for thank you have your whole body on top of that your weight is what helps that move without weight your suspension wouldn’t work
I doubt this will get seen, but there is a small company in southern California called Foes racing, and they make a bike called the mixer. It is a frame that is completely built around the mullet setup, not just throwing the mixed wheel on any frame. By far the best bike that Ive ever ridden.
I am fully converted to a mullet set up! I am 5'2" and ride a Marin Hawk Hill 1.0 in a XS. Maybe you could find one used? Apparently it is now Rift Zone. I'm not sure if anything else but the name changed. I'm completely hooked and am super excited I got the opportunity to try this adjustment. It was mostly just on a whim but seeing Yuka enjoy one made me feel confident in at least giving it a shake. Mostly, I ride this one trail system on Mt. Hood (Oregon) called Sandy Ridge MTB park.
I hear Yuka was looking for a good bike to use as a mullet. I suggest the Propain Spindrift (CF or AL). You can choose sizes and one of the options is mixed, 27 5/29. I think it would be a good fit for her. It is a bit more of a Freeride bike with its 180/190mm of front and 180mm of rear travel, but instead of having to do everything yourself, You can customize your parts through the website. Hopefully you take my suggestion into consideration.
I have stopped using sealant in my tires and just run tubeless without the sealant. 2 years now and no problems (and no mess). Need to add air about every 4 days.
You have got to look at liteville 301 for Yuka. They are a German brand but come as mullet in certain sizes. I’ve owned one for years and it’s still tuning sweet.
suggestions for mullets, propain, scott (genius or ransom), forbidden makes the dreadnought mullet link, or you could just stick a 29er up front to any 27.5 bike, if you do that, look for bikes with steep headtube angles, like 68 degrees, not lower than 65 or get an angle headset adjuster, because a 29 up front will make the headtube slacker by 1.5 degrees and the seettube as well. other than that it works well. You could also just stick a 27.5 in the rear but you need to make the bike taller because that bb height will drop by lice a cm, so a longer fork is advised but then again, geometry. Since yuka doesn´t ride as fast, an Ideal HTA is between 65.5 and 67.5.

You’re so right about the 11 speed cassette. Nobody uses the smallest cog and it also takes away more chain which reduces chain bounce

I love the Magura MT7 brakes! I’ve used them for almost 3 years now. So much modulation, but packs power when you need it.
the yellow edition of the öhlins fork would be the absolute perfect match for that bike!
