I'm a flight paramedic and have been cycling for the last 15 years. Obviously the job has its stressful moments and at least once a shift I make sure I watch 1 or 2 of your videos in a nice cool dark room for a few minutes of stress relief. It's been doing wonders for me. Plus, I love watching how you build bikes and have learned a few things for my next build that I plan to complete next month (definitely not a Dream Build like this but super stealth like this one). Keep up the great work!

Thanks, glad you noticed the carefully chosen spec! The Suspension, frame and wheels are the most important to me.. you wear out the drivetrain so it's sensible to go with a cheaper drive train which still works.

I did my own dream build of this very bike over the summer and I'll never ride another brand. Went with the invisframe as well. This bike seeks and destroys. That Delta link is witchcraft. Far more capable then the travel numbers would lead one to believe.
You know sh*t gets real when the mechanic finally puts on his muc-off gloves. 😂

Just took delivery of a Following V3 on Friday, a buddy sent me this vid on Saturday. I'd never seen your channel before and figured it would be some super bro-ey dude talking about how awesome this kit was or that. Couldn't have been more wrong or more impressed, subscribed. I've shared this and builds of other friends' bikes with them over the past couple days and without prompting a response I'm getting back "peaceful, relaxing, therapeutic" as descriptors. Awesome work, I could watch these all day long.

Riding an 8 year old steel hard tail that is in the shop weekly and seeing these AMAZING bikes that I will probably never be able to afford
It turned out to be a very stylish, dark, brutal bike. Excellent!
Most of the frames featured here have threaded bottom bracket and its good knowing that bike companies acknowledges the practicality of frames having a threaded bottom bracket standards rather than press fit which will be a bit of a hustle taking it off once you change preference on your build.

Finally!!! He has new gloves to build bikes! He was using some old muc-off gloves with holes in them for the longest time. I use Muc-off gloves to work on my bike and they do last forever. haha Congrats on being a Muc-Off ambassador Gee!!!!
Watching these videos are therapeutic to me. I actually learn sooo much from watching these mechanics build these beautiful bikes.

I know this is super geeky to point out, but that Birzman spoke key he's using is by far the best available on the market imho. I've used the park tools, the unior (also good), the dt swiss and pedros (hands down the worst spoke keys ever made and criminally overpriced) among others but that Birzman takes the cake. 4 sided (havent rounded a single nipple simce i got it) design making it easy to grip and release nipple without damaging it in anyway, yet still gets perfect purchase (very important at high tensions) and ergonomically the shape is really user friendly. Not that important if you don't spend that much of your time building wheels but it's invaluable if you do, and I highly recommend the Birzman spoke keys to all other wheel builders! I believe there's 4: Gold, Black, Green and Red

@@lukasbormann4830 this dude has more tools than does my bike shop, not that we don't have enough tools but rather, we lack specialty tools, the kind u use once a year. It is especially frustrating when u need something done and have all but the tool u need for it
