If youre adding shadowcrawl to rotational spells via a macro then i would highly recommend adding @pettarget in the macro. Otherwise shadowfiend might end up swapping targets. On yog for example you might end up sending it on a crusher tentacle (which can end up killing your fiend and then have it chain some poor melee, dont ask how i know). And generally on bosses where you swap to dps add, you probably dont want shadowfiend to swap target from the boss. In a macro this would be: /cast [@pettarget] Shadowcrawl /cast Vampiric Touch

Just last night I was doing yogg on my alt and I killed my shadowfiend by casting it on a corruptor and immediately switching to a crusher, and of course shadowfiend swapped as well. So yes, completely agree! You don't want it switching targets after you cast it
2:50 also this is actually a good way to get a free bit of extra damage out your fiend. I'm by no means a hardcore parsing player but I tried it out and ran some quick tests on a training dummy and it gave the fiend about 15-20% more dps. Plus its essentially a passive damage bonus.

What's worked for me as far as nochanneling macros go is I've been using a mouse with a wheel that tilts side to side that I assigned to turbo spam mouse wheel up on left for mind flay, mouse wheel down on right for mind blast, and I also have keyboard binds of the spellbook versions for both spells to manually clip mind flay on the second tick.

Definitely a good idea to not rely on the dispersion cancel aura as a replacement button, it accidently pressed twice during Algalon and cancelled straight away at big bang killing everyone... but shh.. I told my raid grp it had just bugged :P
I've seen Inner Focus now used with Mind Flay, I used to have it macro'ed to Devouring Plague. Macro'ing it to MF seems to make me (sometimes) have to press the button twice, which is annoying. Do you now always use it with MF, and would you macro it to MF?
Fade costs a GCD and it’s not always a phase transition when you want to reduce threat. Fade is also temporary and may be on cd when you need it. This is the highest dps way to reduce aggro as canceling VE doesn't interrupt your rotation
To be honest i only use fade a second before boss pulls and on Algalon when soaking the big bang. I always thought i get aggro cause i'm the only one remaining on top during big bang.
Never use fade during BB! You do only have aggro because you're the only one up for BB, but your tank can taunt the boss off of you. If you fade your tanks have nothing to taunt off of and Algalon may kill whoever is highest on his threat table before your tank establishes threat. After you disperse run to the other side of the room. Algalon will run towards you, then your tank taunts, and then everyone can dps the boss as normal. Just don't be standing next to Algalon while dispersing BB and you'll be fine

You can set the max camera distance by leaxtrix. You don’t have to press it everytime then.

I don’t macro it to anything and use it as a separate keybind primarily with mind flay or mind sear
VE Cancelaura to avoid aggro? Why not use "Fade" on Phase transitions? Keeps you safe for 10 seconds.
