Deathwish 8.5 Foy twin. Thunder hollow team. Reds. 99a Formula 4 conical full 53 (prob about 50 now… I ride wheels forever when they’re solid)And the worst grizzly grip ever. They sent it to me folded, and it just never flattened out properly, so it’s bubbly and looks wack.
Love,Love,Love, theses segments!!! So dope to hear the pro's brake downs they're setups and why they set them up the way they do. Thank Y0U guys The Nine Club🤝❤
Thank you Chris for all your inspiration when I was a teenager you were than I was. The shop I was sponsoredby in 96/97 brought in an extra box of your decs for me every month. I always rode your pro model for element. Here’s to being young now older but not obsolete. Thank you again Chris.
Love to see him out there ripping still! I remember in the first skate video I ever owned on VHS, 411vm issue 44 he had a day in the life segment and already back then said he's "no spring chicken" and jumping down stuff kinda hurts haha. That was in 2001 and he's still at it, gotta love his love for skateboarding.
I've been waiting so long for this, & the Nine Club full episode interview of Kris for so long. One of the most influential, stylish & exciting skaters that has ever existed, & he still has those awesome skills even to this day. My favourite ever board with my fondest memories was in fact a Element Natas Instinct deck from the late 90s/early 2000s. And the funny thing is that not only did I have many of the same deck because it was just so perfect, but I, like Kris, also found that the yellow top & bottom stain ply version felt lighter & poppier too, & still prefer that combo to this day. But the most amazing thing is that this line of Element decks was a new construction called Featherlight construction, & this complete Legend, Kris Markovich, designed this specific construction at PS Stix for Element! I'm really hoping for a full part from this Legend next. Stay true Kris your style & tricks are still top level ,❤️❤️
Just got back into skateboarding after years. And now that I have money, and some technique to skateboarding, I am getting really nitpicky about how it feels to ride a skateboard and what works and what doesn't. It's still interesting to me the whole layer color deal, I've heard that from other skateboarders, some don't skate red tops, they only skate blue or blank, etc. Ever since I started landing tricks, I would only skate firm bushings and they'd be really tight. I bought a few packs and found out my new comfort is mid bushing but still tight. Went through 3 sets of wheels to figure out what ones felt the best too 😅
Yo! I hear Crob talk about it all the time, but..... putting your trucks on like that isn't madness. It's the proper way to do it so they're all even. Think about changing a tire, same thing. I was always taught to tighten them down but not too much then finish tightening in the same pattern. I just thought how that part of life worked. Never considered it madness.
I must be the only skater that I know that has always gripped up the board Last after putting the trucks on,cover them bolts up haha love these lads can't wait for more....
Get outta here with that. We don’t care about how he looks. The dude is a skateboarding legend and still shreds. We listen to the nine club cause we love it and there’s nowhere else like it. Nowhere else can you look under a video and see positive comments only.
I have several in my quiver. 9.25 Heated Wheel down to 8.5 Creature. Always Indy. Really wanna try them new stage 4. New Bones Dragon 🐉 wheels or sometimes a Chris Miller bones SPF. Bones Red Bearings Don’t care about grip preference or bolt preference. Vans shoes
What's your setup at the moment?

Raw bearings

Enjoi Peace 8.5 with Thunder 149 and 53mm Bones 99a.

He thought he was Chris Miller
It's Kris not Chris..he's my buddy don't u dare misspell his name
Old but not obsolete! Love that Terminator reference.
I always rode the Element J Wray. Dont even know how many I had. Loved those featherlite boards.
I was hoping we were gonna be able too see Markovich's setup.... And of course the 9 club gents came through.....

So rad he still rips like that.......its takes me a minute to get off my bed these days.
caught cheating on his truck company, lol, Indy doesn't seem to mind CRob riding thunders!

Yoshi T tried to fight me for asking him what trucks he was riding

love this series
We all got the madness when it comes to setups
I remember the whole bolt OCD thing on his setup in 411vm 55. I myself since then have had the same OCD when putting my bolts and trucks on
That board setup is looking cool to skating of obstacles and grinding the best line of Khris Marovich to improving the progressions of a famous spot!?
I was really confident in my English ability until reading that
@@warrenusername exactly 100%
I remember kris from his foundation days and the tony hawk how to videos. Pretty dope dude
YOU CAN'T FRONT ON MARKOVICH! STRAIGHT UP SUPER RIPPER STYLEE DUDE!
I fucking love this guy.

defs not madness considering worn baseplate holes are referred to as "idiot loops"

I believe Omar Salazar grips over the bolts too.

this guy is so cool
I have a pair of 9 inch krux. Looking for a deck to fit it. Currently
He rules on board, but damn if he doesn't look like every guy at any given randumb bar trying to sell you hubbas.
People try to sell you wheels at bars?

My first ever real board was a Kris Markovich Blind board in 2003/2004
I'm very partial to green top boards for some reason
Crimson skateboards had cool graphics always wanted one
Kris seems cool as fuck would deffs have a skate and beer with him
Glad you’re still ripping Kris! Your Nine Club interview was great.
Subbed!
Who used to set up their board, then put the grip on??
I still do that 😂

No risers because of Sheffey too. 👍
these are sweet
it blows my mind that silver trucks are still in business some how, like who tf rides silver trucks.....no lol
Orange background..
Crimson board?!
Silver still makes trucks??
Macaroni!!!!!!
There should be a format, width, length, wheelbase, and it’s a plus if you know your nose and tail length. Then everything else is whatever!
Super specific! I’ll never understand graphic on the inside ha
That's what I used to do when I skated.
@surf city Like the graphic side of the wheel faces each other.
Seems methy?
Yeah. I get that impression as well.
Coffee
And jetlag that's how it was explained..the guy that defended gator was methy
why would you willingly skate silver trucks? 🤣
Skates for silver but is riding Indy’s. Lol 😂
no orange plies... doesn't like orange. SO YOU PUT HIM IN FRONT OF AN ORANGE BACKGROUND? how could you?
Zzzzzzzz
