@twohammers no I haven't but I did meet Cookie and Sean Malto at Mt. Bachelor last year. They were there for an event sponsored by Mtn.Dew. I got both thier autographs and cookie was super nice and talked to me for a little bit. Malto kinda cool-guyed me haha
I actually measured my shaved down wheels vs new. A few mm of wear is up to 10g per wheel! That’s kinda huge when you consider the swing weight of those things as they sit at the edge of your trucks.
I recently got some Indy 159s because of a previous Cookie board setup video. These puppies are heavy. Amazing how easily he does flip tricks with them. Lotta leg strength.
I always think about this. I always skated 8,25 with 144s, then switched to 8,375 with 149 but I think I will try 8,25 with the 149s now as I like my trucks to be a little bit wider than the deck as well
I love cookie but dude barely shows any emotion hahah he’s like “i really like this”😐 while not breaking eye contact. But he knows what’s up 159s on a 8.5 and conical shapes wheels is the best👌
glad you guys made this segment. 48 yrs old and still trip on this stuff. Thanks 9Club
The friendliest dude in skateboarding 🙂

Love that everyone’s truck tightness scale has Daewon as the loose limit
These are the best my setups done. Thank you for this series.very enjoyable.

I met him during Dew Tour here in Long Beach, he's so nice and will take time to talk to you while he's giving you autograph unlike other skaters

I ride 169 indys but i might start getting hollows because they are so heavy like you said the bigger indies. But i have bent axles on hollows
He complains about that extra weight from bigger wheels but he rides Indy's and an 8.5 board.
Im 48 and just got nollie heelflips on an 9.18 Uma with 60 Aces (8.95). Your board is what you connect to. Ur jam talks to you 🤙🏼
@@AspiringSpaceWizard 169 forged hollows all day. Ive been riding them alot.
Usually ride that size or 159 alot
@@TRAVIESO_NA ever bend them ?
loooove this series, dont be afraid to ask them their cruiser set up as well
What a genuine dude
Please keep doing these
I met him and he signed my board and plasters he was really chill
i love this series 😊
I ate some cookies while watching this
I thought the thumbnail was Saul Goodman for a second
The man.
Dude donated him a bolt😂😂
159s on 8.5 is perfect for me. I toss the 149s on 8.25 decks. Just like to have my trucks slightly larger than my decks 🤷🏿♂️

I am also think start skate my 8 deck with 148 thunder
That pepper grip looks so shiny ✨
Chris seems really chill, enjoyed his thoughts on setup
Thats where the golden tin tobacco hides in a spoon position
Ufffff do i always need to spoon feed you guys 😂
I’ve been seeing Chris since he was riding Huf he’s been uniquely shredding
man i miss those all suede classic hi's from huf. style and durability was the best imo.
11:48 " If I'm feeling froggy" LOVE IT, I'll be adding that to the repertoire!
My grandmother used to say that, too. Ha!
just ordered the 8.75 Cookie deck off the Worble site, can't wait to skate it!
Shout out the Vermont homies shredding it up🤙🤙
Yo his griptape is shiny like the og Jessup formula 😮😮😮😮😮😮
Bro talk like Brad Hall

Lmaooo he fr be like the 😐 emoji
I'm like that too and I look just like him.
Oh yeah let's seeeee
He looks exactly like my childhood friend Mike Pipgrass
Cookie has the same wheel habit as Jeremy Wray but didn’t even realize that.
I recently skated a Worble Cookie board, I liked it. But it had a really long and steep nose. Which I wasn’t used too
At the start he has different wheels and by 4:01 it's changed to a different set, what's up with that?
the graphics just flipped you can see the same print on the inside wheels
I wonder if they going to make a 13.8 wheelbase with a 8.5 width
Dlx just released boards with that spec.
Its called ( true fit )
Anti hero
Real
Krooked
I gotta get this Antihero 8.5 with 13.8 wheelbase.

Creature Stumps
10:25 hey siri play driveway by cobra man
I’ve got a similar setup
Cookie rips!!… Like he literally can skate anything.
Switch hardflips
At first I thought he said it’s a portable skateboard 😂
he owes them a chair
This dude probably has the world’s smallest carbon footprint.
🛹🛹🛹
Classic and skating anywhere to watch Cookie riding on his skateboard to testing the graphics of a cool design!
I didnt know joe pera could skate
Soty

He is the minority to have his deck smaller than his truck😮
