I've met him at Black Plague in Oceanside, coincidentally enough I finished buying one his pro board after busting my board and I was going to meet a friend at the brewery and all of a sudden he was standing there. I went up to him and told him "hey man huge fan of your skating, I just bought one of your boards." He was all stoked and told me to bring it down to sign it. I did and we talk for a bit, relating on our busted shoulder injuries and shitty of a time it is. Anyway, he was the nicest person around, super funny too, talking to him feel like talking to a long childhood friend. I would love to actually skate with him one day. Hope you get your chance one day.
