Good comparison, thanks for posting. Both will do the job, but the oenida does it a bit better. I like to keep a bag in the vac to catch all that fine dust so it never reaches the filter.

Misinformation, that’s not a Dustopper (or Dust Stopper). That’s a Shop Vac dust collector. Dustopper PRO would be the version to compare to the Low-Pro. Dustopper came first, so looks like Oneida copied them.

Did it come before the Deputy? I bought my first Deputy (metal version, for job sites) about 20 years ago.

The tall cyclone, yes, this Low-Pro came after Dustopper.

Come on, as if putting the 5 gallon bucket collapsed by the vacuum inside another would solve the problem, when all it does is hide it.
This is not to say I don't think Oneida products aren't top of the line. I bought their 3 hp Dust Gorilla, three Dust Deputies and a Super Dust Deputy because of how I witnessed them working.
Get a heavier duty bucket, or reinforce the one they have. Just be POSITIVE you seal any air leaks, because it will alter the efficiency of the pre-filter.
