    Have you encountered any issues with going from a 2.5” reel hose to a 4” connection on the tool? I like your method better than installing a ton of blast gates to each tool. It’s just as quick to move the hose than to open and close another blast gate. I’m worried about the 2.5” hose reducing the efficacy on a larger tool. Thanks!

      @@jameswilliamjones hi! We haven’t noticed any reduction in the power of the system going to a 4” port. We use it with our Rikon bandsaw that has a 4” port and it makes a huge difference and works great. Hope that helps!

    Come on, as if putting the 5 gallon bucket collapsed by the vacuum inside another would solve the problem, when all it does is hide it. This is not to say I don't think Oneida products aren't top of the line. I bought their 3 hp Dust Gorilla, three Dust Deputies and a Super Dust Deputy because of how I witnessed them working. Get a heavier duty bucket, or reinforce the one they have. Just be POSITIVE you seal any air leaks, because it will alter the efficiency of the pre-filter.

    Misinformation, that’s not a Dustopper (or Dust Stopper). That’s a Shop Vac dust collector. Dustopper PRO would be the version to compare to the Low-Pro. Dustopper came first, so looks like Oneida copied them.

    • @kellyvcraig
      @kellyvcraig 3 месяца назад

      Did it come before the Deputy? I bought my first Deputy (metal version, for job sites) about 20 years ago.

      The tall cyclone, yes, this Low-Pro came after Dustopper.

  • @NWGR

    Good comparison, thanks for posting. Both will do the job, but the oenida does it a bit better. I like to keep a bag in the vac to catch all that fine dust so it never reaches the filter.

    FYI I use my table saw and my sliding compound miter saw almost every single day and I have Diablo blades in each of them my table saw has the same blade for over 4 years and the DeWalt compound miter saw is almost 3 years old in this economy we can't afford to be spending $100.00 a week or even a month replacing the blades in our saws when we are already spending the time to make sure they don't have nails or screws in the wood we will be cutting Thank you Diablo for making a blade worth the money we are paying instead of junk we can't afford in this economy from the worthless idiot Joe Biden and kameltoe Harris administration that is screwing us all financially
