Dude, dude i had to come back here and say you sir are the Man! This video should be required viewing for those playing on ps5. Thank you so much! I don't know if this really worked or is a major placebo effect lol that fact is those weird stutters are completely gone and my perfect dodge success rate went through the roof. Was struggling with tiger temple boss. After this took him out in just a few tries. It instantly felt better! Perfect dodge, perfect dodge, perfect dodge, i couldn't believe it Again thank you, game is a blast now instead of being frustrating!
This is exactly whats happening to me on my PC with PS5 controller. I had data collection off and FW for the ps5 controller updated. Gonna try the camera assist off setting now. TY!
Thanks a lot, this is a lovely video, if it wasn't for this video i would hv quit the game even before the first boss fight cuz of all the input lag and stutter, the game feels absolutely wonderful. Thanks once again, you made my day
Thanks for this. I'll try turning off "data collection". I usually do but left it on this time in case it helps the game devs, but it's not good if it affects gameplay this badly.
Hey guys, sorry my mic isn't the best quality, recently moved to a new place and I couldn't find my original mic. Yeah I had originally tried everything I could think of to look at it technically to solve the input lag, took my PS5 apart and cleaned everything, put more thermal paste on the CPU, looked at the performance settings in game and in PS5 settings. I ended up watching some other streamers play the game and they were complaining about the same issues and I noticed everyone was using the "Allow Data Collection", I know in the past game companies have tried different formats for collecting Data and Game Science company is fairly new, so I thought maybe they are trying a more genuine approach to Data Collection, some companies even get your machine to store extra data, rather than pinging the server periodically and sending small packets. If your machine is storing large amounts of data I think it can create this type of input lag, so I tinkered around with it and even though it's basic, it ended up working for me and hasn't came back.
Switch your HDCP setting too on PS5. I reduced my input lag by huge amount. I believe the issue might be my hdmi2.0 TV and this setting just removed the lag completely but you can give it a try to see if it further reduced your input lag. For me I don’t have to spam dodge now since my lag is completely gone.
Yeah I can understand, this was happening to me before, maybe if this doesn't work for everyone, they can create a patch/update to help solve the issue.
Turn the HDCP setting off also on PS5 it will completely go off. Wreck the fk out of great sage since I turned that off, dodges are now so easy to time 🥰

Thanks a lot man, I really appreciate it. I'm so glad this was able to help you and make the game playable and enjoyable again.
The same thing happened to me. As you said, I don't know if it's some kind of placebo effect, but playing is much more fun now kkkkk
@@Drekends that’s great man, I’m glad to hear it.
This worked like a charm. You're a gentleman and a scholar.
I'm so happy it was able to help you, I appreciate your kind words, happy gaming!

Your welcome man, I'm so glad it helped you.

Idk if this is a fix but can’t help to try it, going insane dying to awful registering, pray they do something about it

BRO! IT WORKED the stuttering it's gone!!
tried it and its smoother its so weird
There's input lag in this video lol
Input lag is due to performance mode using frame generation, so this won't help at all
It might a little bit. Trying both together I mean.
Turn the HDCP setting off also on PS5 it will completely go off. Wreck the fk out of great sage since I turned that off, dodges are now so easy to time 🥰
I will turn data collection off too. Didn’t know about that. But switching off hdcp was sufficient for me
i´ll try this i Got some stuttering on the second chapter not much but still annoying definitely i'll try this hope at least stuttering goes away
You did not mention which mode to use. Performance or quality
@@sreekesh23 performance
Gonna try it later, what about the display settings? Are you playing on performance mode? Thx!
Yes, my setting is on performance.
Did u play on performance or quality?
Performance
Lol I was wondering why it has input lag then I checked the settings and they were already off, it has input lag you can’t fix it
Does this fix the dpad lag?
@@aidenarkham Sorry was visiting a few countries now I’m back. It seems to have fixed it for me.
@@EndurantGG yeah I still get input lag when using item unfortunately and it's always during a Boss fight lol
Are you recording in the shower?
Lol
My family is cooking food in the background, since it's a new house I didn't have any noise reduction filter setup.
😂
@@EndurantGG sounds good. What were they cooking?
@@boiiofboii6736 My family uses a pressure cooker a lot and it makes a constant sizzle sound. Pork and vegetables, might have been some porridge also.
