dude i was very happy to see this video because i found xaviersobased about a year ago and have been extremely hooked eversince, I personally love his older music over his newest album but the newest album is cool too I would rlly recommend checking out "and when" by him, its one of my favorite projects of all time, it feels extremely surreal and psychedelic and has a lot of personality that makes it really fun sometimes thx for the video i enjoyed it a lot

nah he uses a lot of jerk/hyphy influence in his beats so don't why he'd be acting like its accidental it almost feels like he dont wanna credit where he got his sound. He uses more than just those specific snare patterns its the drum sounds and the chants. He uses really specific drum sounds and patterns that are directly from jerk/hyphy so aint no way he just thought of that and his music became accidentally jerk when that literally was what he was going for. He even said the og $hit is fire which almost nobody would even know about. just thought it was a little weird since he specifically uses jerk elements really just drum patterns/structure. or maybe he feels people might call him a poser or sum so maybe he's just trying to avoid it from being his whole rapper identity
