I remember when I was a little kid, people would always shout “do a kickflip!” at me when I didn’t know how to do one. I eventually learned how to do a kickflip and nobody ever shouted that at me ever again.

True story when I was a kid the skate shop that carried by favorite brand was an hour away.. after calling and asking if they had the shoe I was looking for I drove there with my mom (who hated me let alone skateboarding) to buy them. I was a size 10, they only had 12+ so I bought size 12 and rode em. Said fuck it. this was back in the early 2000’s when everyone made big bulky shoes

I can't like the dude now, for 11 years he was my favourite skater and was stoked when he went on tour to the gold coast, australia. He threw a tantrum on the park and sat down for the entire demo, then went to meet him when he was signin stuff and was just cold and barely even looked up at anyone.
