I can’t believe the Tower 28 mascara beat the Ilia for clean beauty! Love the Ilia! I agree with a lot of the list too and was glad to see some changes. My favorite on the list is the Chanel cream bronzer. I use it as a one and done shadow too. Expensive, but worth it. Great video Risa!👏💕

Merle Norman was my first makeup in the 1970's. I remember fondly my godmother taking me to their studio and getting a "makeover" in our little neighborhood mall. I wore their products for a while and while I no longer wear them, they will always make me nostalgic.

Yes I love merle Norman and I have used them for so many years! I wear the total finish compact in alabaster. I haven't found ANY foundation that beats it for 48 year old self lol. They have really came so far and so have all their products! ❤️
I’m so addicted to the mascara! I went into Sephora makeup free to try new products, and that was one of them. After applying it, one of the staff asked me if I had lash extensions 😂. I have decently long lashes for being 54, but the tips are blonde. It was definitely a huge transformation!

I also think some things (like too much blush) don’t look good on me but other people compliment me about it 🤷♀️ I think it’s just how we see “ourselves” and what we’re used to that makes us over look certain things that sometimes may actually bring out our beauty more than we thought. Just my opinion though 😌 I’ll say I loved the soft tones you used today. Everything looks great 👍 I’ve been back n forth with the Tower 28 mascara. I put it in my Sephora cart, then I take it out and purchase something else instead. Maybe I’ll go ahead and buy it now! Lol I think the Rare Beauty liquid blush is spot on for winning! I compare it to the Danessa Myricks vision flush and Colorfix products which are awesome for the cheeks, highlight & contour as well. I gravitate to Danessa Myricks for the ease of use, innovation and the pigmentation of everything she creates. The one product I’m not “wowed” by is the NARS foundation. I have it, I like it, but for me and my combo Skin, it just slides right off after about an hour or so. It does have a beautiful radiance to it but it’s not long lasting at all. Now, the NARS soft matte is the complete opposite! THAT one lasts all day! Lol But of course it’s not radiant at all, it’s matte for sure. Thank you for your opinions on these products and formulas. I love these best in Allure videos, have you seen Allie Glines version? I haven’t filmed one myself yet but I think these are a great way to see if these are the BEST in BEAUTY for the rest of us too 😊 Have a beautiful Sunday Risa!
