What a gorgeous look! I have the same under eye dark circles. I find what works is color correcting first then apply concealer if even necessary. I am loving the Bobbi brown stick corrector and the concealer.

I'm with you Risa. The IRL Filter Foundation was a huge fail for me also. I have dry, mature skin and it accentuated my dryness from the moment I applied it.

Your eyes look beautiful with that eyecolor. Its been out for a long while, but the Huda beauty Nude light pallet has a rosy plumy brown, and the mats blend together nicely (I love small pallets). Putting the gloss on back of hand to not tint the gloss, genius, I always learn something here

I feel that there is very little difference between mascaras. BUT the Tower 28 is exceptional. Not gloppy, like so many of them, and looks great.

You got me started on Buxum lip glosses and now I'm obsessed! The screeching of tires is me running to get me some mia marshmallow! lol. I also want to say about Buxum that I couldn't stand to wear lip gloss that had a plumping formula so I was super wary of even trying it, but it has a really lovely cool snap. In fact when I wear my other brands of lip gloss, I miss the plumping feel of the Buxum. I'm also getting the lip liner, not sure about the Stila lipstick, I'll wait until you update how it felt. Appreciate you! 💋

As always you make everything look flawless. I have been watching your channel for months now and I love how your lips look in this video. Your upper lip has a more natural look to it and it fits your face beautifully. Sorry if that sounds weird. Lol! I always love 💗 your testing new makeup videos! I swear everyone has been hyping this Makeup Revolution IRL foundation and I’ve been waiting for you or Sam March to test it out! You two are my go to influencers I sincerely trust! I’ve watched several reviews and they all say how AMAZING it is but when I was looking and watching it didn’t look right but they still all said BUY IT!! I’m going to pass on it! I purchased the new Tower 28 mascara when it was a Sephora Rouge exclusive and when I applied it I was truly blown away! Ive never been able to apply false lashes and I’ve been asked so many times “what lashes are you wearing” My lashes stay so curled and smudge resistant all day long and it’s not difficult to remove! There’s some magic in that mascara! I’m really enjoying the new Milk Makeup concealer but for my face not my under eyes. I will also say the shades online are very different than what you receive. I had to exchange mine twice.

I think there is something to be said for a persons “know how” trumping a product…meaning someone like you, Risa, can take a not so great product and make it look fabulous. The Gucci blush looked dreamy and the eyeliner and lip was beautiful but the rest was meh for me…the foundation especially was off from the start. Thanks for the great content Risa!!!❤

Risa, I do not use eye shadow primer, and I’ve been impressed by the eye shadows from revolution (same brand as the foundation) they last all day, beautiful, better than my high end ones!

Please do a video for makeup called save or splurge. Saying you feel if you should pick the high end/luxury side for something (ex foundation) or if you should save and go with drugstore (ex lip liner). Just showing examples of what I mean. You would not have to go into brands except for maybe examples- just simple save or splurge. You could do a skincare and/or hair care, body care, etc versions too. I know it is all personal preference- but I as a subscriber would be I interested in your thoughts. I am 45 with combo/oily skin so I get a lot of value from your videos.

I got that Ciate powder a long time ago in a Boxy Charm when I used to get that. It may have had a different name, but looked excellent and had a coconut smell. And I'd use it with the method you taught a long time ago of using a damp sponge to pick up some translucent setting powder and using it in the t-zone. If that powder was sold at Sephora, I'd still buy it. Btw - I still use that method you shared.

The eyeliner looks like velvet!
Yeah the Maybelline stacks have been out for a bit but some are ok and others like the purple I believe is very patchy. The green one is a good one.

Hallo, I have seen a lot of people review the Maybelline quads and no one was wowed some said they are okay more were nope. For the ciate I have been very pleased they make a jelly primer that is nice. Your look came out beautiful. I really want to try the tower mascara. Thank you for the great review.

I wear the same exact lip combos as you do with that said I always just order them after to show new ones, so thank you for that ❤ You know I find a lot of people aren’t really aware of ciate’ London line very much their setting powders is one of my holy grail products for a few years now, glad they sent it to you. I’m not a fan of those shadows at all. I didn’t think they blended well for me, however they definitely looked as they performed better for you. Mine went to my teenage neighbor she loves when she sees me walking over. I know I wish I had a neighbor like that when I was that age lol.. she’s a doll so I love giving stuff to her it makes more room for me to try more new products 😂. Gorgeous! I’m trying so hard not to buy one of the Gucci blushes. They look so pretty but I have so much blush and they’re so expensive. I adore Buxom glosses, maybe I’ll grab the Mia Marshmallow to make up for the blush…doesn’t seem like a fair trade though!

Girl I know you always say you have sparse and light lashes and usually when you apply mascara I still can't see them but I didnt realize just how sparse your lashes was until you used the tower 28 mascara. Which says a lot of the mascara but you definitely ain't lying. Not that I thought you was. Your a beautiful person and im glad I found your videos 6 months ago. I like your content.

Your finished look was pretty. Too bad the foundation didn't ultimately work out. I tried the Milk Makeup concealer today for the first time. The shade I chose online was much too light. I don't have dark circles to cover so the coverage was fine. I use concealer to just brighten my under eyes. Love the Gucci blush. I have Tender Apricot and Bright Coral. And now I'm waiting on the new Patrick Ta blush palette. Why do I keep buying blush when I have something new that I love?? 🥴

Actually Risa the IRL foundation was launched back in July. Lol! 🙌 I think u said 3 weeks ago? But to be exact it was July 20th. I got u babe!
That foundation has been out for quite a while now. I bought mine months ago after seeing all these rave reviews on it. I hated it too. I will usually try to make a less than stellar foundation work for me by trying different primers, applications, etc. I didn't even care enough to try, lol This went straight to a friends daughter who wanted to try it. Probably one of the worst I've ever used. At least the immediate application looked good on you anyway. We didn't see you at that 4hr mark but based on my own experience I'm not surprised by your update.

Although my facial skin is “normal”- neither dry or oily, my eyelids are oily. I had a makeup artist exclaim how oily my lids were-she was surprised she couldn’t get powder eye shadow to adhere well. I use either the Anastasia or the Ulta e/s base-slightly tinted. I can also use liquid wand concealer on my lids-w/o worrying about the concealer being too drying.
I had the same experience with that foundation. It looked horrible. I went straight home from work and washed it off.
Glamzilla had an issue with the stila lipstick too. Disappointing

The foundation colour is really not good on your complexion .
I bought the shadow box in green from Amazon. Except for the white metallic foil shade in the stack, I HATED it. Powdery and patchy. Hard pressed. Uneven and dry. TERRIBLE. I processed it as a return and Amazon said I could keep it instead of returning it. I threw it straight into the trash. HORRIBLE formula.
I always like the videos and get a lot from them. However, it's hard to really test a long lasting lipstick if you put gloss on over it. Gloss makes everything short lived.
That’s why I did the kiss test before I applied the gloss.
