Following with keen interest... How I wish I could have the opportunity to watch Everton play in this magnificent arena... unfortunately am very far away... TV is the only option.. COYB
Absolutely brilliant collaboration between Everton FC & ToffeeTV. Congratulations. And many thanks to all involved in this superb piece of work. 23+ Years for Me (actually it's exactly 50) and looking forward to watching "The Mighty Royal Blue Dockers" from the East Stand.
Really enjoyed watching that, thanks 👍🏻 Can’t wait. John seems as excited as I am 😆 We want to be in the south stand lower tier but, sadly, I think it’ll be sold out by the time we choose Up The Friedkin Toffees
Virtual venue tool so you can view your seat before you buy. Is this going to be available before all fans start choosing their seats? It would make sense. and speed the buying process up, if we know what our view will be from various seat positions well in advance.
Three people, 2 have 23 yrs and one has 10.Why not take the average of the tenures which would be 18. That fairly allocates based on the three tenures not the lowest ?
Since the questionnaire I have said that yhe current stands be transposed onto the new stadium. Ie Upper Glawdys street to upper south, paddock to lower east etc. Then people can decide where they want to move to. Then the newbies can make their choices. A lot simpler and saves all the hassle that the option they opted for.
Good interview, one thing I've asked about 10 times and no one's ever answered is in the south stand is the concourse with the windows all the way along with the city view, accessible to all the stand or just the upper section?
John invites the guy to do an interview and as usual, his ego takes over....interrupting the mans flow, ending his sentences...its all about him. He really does love the sound of his own voice...always blowing his own trumpet.
Should have made the stadium 56/60k even if it is few empty seats to begin with If I’m coming home from Australia like others we won’t turn struggle to Buy a match day ticket
As someone on the waiting list I waited intently for a question to help us on the waiting list to find out more but nothing was asked? My sister in law is a current season ticket holder and it would have been nice to know if we wanted to sit together what the likelihood of me successfully getting a ticket would be
@ I know everyone on the waiting list should find out if they have been successful by end of march,I know I’m in Tier 1 as I paid my membership too so we will see 😉
if you go to 21 mins in then he says that at the same time that season ticket holders get told their date then the waiting list gets told if they are in or out at the same time so you know if you've got mates on the waiting list that you want to sit next to you can either wait for them or not 👍
Great interview but I'm 23 years my son is 21 but my grandson who is 5 is on the waiting list he is 3 thousand and something so he is going 2 get a season ticket but we will have 2 wait 4 him
Me too. I've been going forever my older boy has a season ticket and my younger son is in the 3k category on the waiting list, so we have to wait. But that is fine! It a fair system. All the seats will be good. New owner, new stadium. We just need a new team, new manager and a new winning mentality.
"If you have 23 years tenure, you'll have on day one, 43000 seats to choose from." "If you have 10 years, 27000 seats to choose from." Naive calculations - fans with 23 years and 15 years tenure combined, equals approx 16,000. The big question over like-for-like is 'are you happy with safe standing?' Not mentioned here but every bit as big an issue as age. No mention of family enclosure.
Very good point about safe standing. I’m interested to know what your calculations are based on? I’m also wondering if they will group tenure together further down the order i.e. 18-22 years? If not, year by year could take a long time or very short choice windows
South stand for me, but instead of being on the first pick with me 23 plus years tenure al have to wait until my lads 20 year tenure kicks in. And I'm ok with that. Many others on 23 will likely be doing similar, so it results in a lot fewer than 100% take up on first pick therefore we will have 4th pick at 20 tenure. The amount on 22, 21 tenure will also be reduced by many waiting for others to catch up-too. So 4th pick I'm pretty happy we are gonna get the seats we want. Shittin me self for the price increase though....
This is flawed, I have 3 tickets to same address for 21 years one is for a grandkid so 6 years ago the grandkid one had a first name change between brothers same surname same address so now the group has to take a 6 year tenure to stay together for a group of 3 that has collectively 63 years, THIS NOT RIGHT, there must be other groups like us. PLEASE EVERTON USE A BIT OF COMMON SENSE.
Virtually the same, 51 years season ticket holder, introduced younger family members meaning 77 season tickets have been bought now face 8 years tenure. Tenure should have worked up with the senior holder earning the rights.
@@gjones8847 mate if you look into it properly you will find that it doesn’t apply to kids. Kids will be in the first wave regardless of how long they have had their season ticket. Hope this helps mate because I am in same situation
Dad is 97 upper street row a ,no one stands in front of him there ,god willing they use common sense as they actually said he's not full tenure when he clearly has
I was hoping for a question to reveal the longest tenure because some clubs with long season ticket waiting lists discover that season tickets are being inherited. The risk of losing the ticket because a name change is rejected, is too great. So Mr XYZ, your tenure is 94 years and by our reckoning you are 136 years old. 🤣

Brilliant interview by John deffo the best person to ask the questions on this.
Yes.
I do think his enthusiasm stifled Data Dude a smidge initially 👍
Brilliant interview. You can tell Mike is proper blue
Yes he is mate 👍
Great insight! Thanks guys!
Cheers Al 😊
Brilliant interview 👏

🤞🤞🤞
I’d be keen to know how many tickets for general public. I worry as a non season ticket holder I’ll struggle to buy a ticket.

Agree, Upper Gwladys convert to Upper South would do most fine.
Nice one, gentlemen. 👍

Interesting statement saying the worst seat at bramley moore will be better than the best seat at goodison

Until the take up is finished it's impossible to say whether or not there'll be seats together for a mix of STH and someone on the waiting list.
Dave, they can't really say anything until ST take up is sorted I think.

@@BlueBoy-nc2hz The presenter's guest, head of data, mentions those numbers in his reply in the middle of the interview.
Did he say the lower south stand at BMD is smaller than the lower Gwladys street?
Yes there are less rows in the lower-south than the lower-Gwladys
My tenure is 14.does that mean im gonna have to wait for ages.
Gonna have lots of choice mate don't worry 👍

23 years is the tenure
Club records only go back 23 years so that’s the maximum for the seat selection process.
East Stand for me, I want to be able to get away from the ground.
Yeah... No bursting off in all directions like Goodison after the games, eh ?
We're buying a canoe so we can paddle into town at BMD

I always like to be low down and center of the pitch to get best view on everything just hoping I can get a ticket for new stadium :)
