- Model A Ford Doodlebug: Overheating This time at the Quick Speed Shop it's about time to bust out my 1930 Ford AA doodlebug, fix the overheating issues and get it ready to take to a show. This thing has been derelict for a year with overheating issues. Let's tear it apart, check the water pump and radiator and figure out what is wrong. Will it start after that and will it stay cool? Let's find out!

I know you say the Ford AA is a ton and a half truck, what Ford A was a one ton version?
I think the AA could be one ton, 1 1/2 ton or 2 ton depending on wheel base and if it had dual wheels or not.
