  • 1929 Ford AA Tow Truck to the Rescue! This time at the Quick Speed Shop I need to move some heavy axles and don't have a tractor or loader, but I do have a Ford AA tow truck! Let's fire this truck up, sling up the axles, and get them moved to the back yard. Its old school yanking day today at the shop!
Please like, share, and subscribe. I put out new videos every Wednesday and Sunday.

Rear end action today at the quick speed shop. I have the GoPro 10 never had to turn off from being cold, But about 20 minutes on my dash in this Az heat she turns off from being to hot. The tow truck ROCKS. thanks for the AWESOME video

I've had a lot of glitches with the Hero9. I updated the software to see if that helps.

AA fords are hard to find. They were worked hard and put away wet.

Nothing wrong with a Dana60. It’s a good strong axle.

Yeah I know, I just wanted to use the Sterling because of the bigger ring and pinion and reinforced center section.

This truck is not a 1929 AA truck it is up to June 1930 when Ford replaced the BUDD built 82 A cab with the Budd 82 B cab . It has the 4 speed ,1930 steering wheel and heavy 1930 only wheels and heavy front axle etc . Definately nuilt in the first half of 1930 .

The entire front axle and wheels are not original to this truck nor are the rear wheels. It had 1928 rear wheels on it when I got it with a single wheel rear, but a dually front end. It was a doodlebug put together put of parts when I got it. The cab still has the threaded gas filler, not straight blade like the early 1930 cabs did. Research shows 4 speed was available starting sometime in September 1929. This truck also has the worm drive rearend which I think was gone in 1930. I believe the cab and chassis to be 1929.
