@@TheNorthlandWorkshop If you have time for a chat, I think I just bought a saw that is either a sister to your 14" Delta, or a near cousin. It was almost free, and it seems flawless thus far. Would love to pick your brain since you seem to be the expert on these things. Let me know if you are interested.
I have actually been waiting to learn how to do this EXACT project. I started my cabinet project by re-sawing some old planks.( I have a video on my channel). I am going to make the top table like yours. That is BRILLIANT ! I have the shaper head and many blades for it, but I now know that I can do it WITHOUT the "Special" stuff. THANK YOU for teaching an old dog a new trick. You ARE the R.A.S. KING !😎
The value of Your Channel and Your content are Extremely Valuable and important for All of Us that want to learn from a Master Really Love and Appreciate All Your videos Thank You for Your superb Knowledge and Your Art of Sharing!
I made it the same size just because I make some really big raised panels so I needed the support. If you’re not making large raised panels you can make it smaller and store the table under the saw.
Yes it is 3/4” but that’s because I had a scrap piece left over from something else. The only part that really needs to be 3/4” plywood for stiffness is the fence. You could make it lighter by making the table out of 1/2” plywood and use 3/4” just for the fence.
Excellent video! I love to see someone with your passion for and expertise using the RAS. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!

Hi Lain, what thickness is plywood material for raised panel jig? Would it be 3/4"? Thank you
