- We're so thankful Mom & Dad helped us get some potatoes and flowers planted, I don't know what we would do without them! I can't wait to look out my window and see all the flowers growing and to harvest some potatoes in the fall. Thanks Mom & Dad!

Corie, I'm an old man so take this as it's intended. You're cuter than a bug as you get closer to your babies birthday. You have such a warm glow. If I'm granted many more years and y'all's babies get grown, they'll still be babies. I thought of that last night. I pray for everyone in y'all's family. I just learned Matt's stepmother so I'm praying for her too. I generally end my prayers after a special prayer for Ms. Granny and then I pray for you and Katie and then I pray for your babies. I realized if I'm still around when your babies turn 18, I'll still be praying for y'all's babies.

You chose some good pollinator friendly flower varieties. Will make nice cut flowers for your new house. Potatoes, gotta love them, so versatile. We usually yield about 400 pounds. For family and friends.

I know all of you know this, but you are so very blessed to have family that helps each other.
We understand Austin works and it’s not that he just doesn’t want to help-filming hits while he’s at work a lot of times. I’ve been in his shoes being the only one with a public job. You’d definitely rather be with the crew-but eating, having a home, insurance, etc. is awesome benefit of a job.
I don’t think your Mama or Daddy could even spell the word lazy…they’re always working on something.

Corie… you need to still frame that shot of your mama and daddy leaving on that tractor! That was a fantastic pic of them. Down here , when a woman rides the tractor with her man, it’s a display of love. So sweet! Not to mention those grandsons would get such a kick out of it! Thank God in heaven for tractors! Matt can really put that tractor over the road. I get a big kick out of him when it’s goes really fast. You are not going to be so busy with the baby that you won’t have much free time. I had 5 girls and still had time to do other things. You are a strong lady ,don’t be worried about time. But I do admit I was always glad to see bed time come. Babies sleep a lot, so about after about a month things will be a lot smoother. You have such wonderful Mom and Dad. Matt looks so wore out, he just works all the time and says he is tired. God bless this family.

OH my goodness...I can't wait to see all those flowers come up and bloom. That is exactly how I would like to plant if I could....just shake it all and sit back and wait. Those potato beds...even if you get little baby potatoes that would be totally worth it they are so good when small.

Oh Corie, this brought tears to my eyes. Watching your Mom and Dad help you in the garden is what the circle of life is all about. I love my gardens too, and my Mother always told me " One is nearer God's heart in the garden, than anywhere else on earth ". Watching them ride away in the tractor was beautiful. Watching your family all working together and living close to each other is such a joy and brings back wonderful memories of growing up. I know this is the way of life that you girls have always known, but you are truly blessed to get to live this way.
If I had my druthers, my kids and grandkids would be next door to me, like you are to your parents. But, they live close enough that I see them frequently. Both of my sisters' kids live across the country, so they rarely see them. So, I count my blessings. I love your videos, seeing your family all working together. You're so blessed. Corie,I planted Calendula last year for the 1st time and it's coming back with blooms already. I live in northern Viginia. I didn't expect them to come back.
