We had a total eclipse here in Ohio. It was amazing! My parents are 91 and 89 and they said who would believe we'd be here to see this?! My Mom and I started singing Our God is an Awesome God at the same moment! So special and so blessed! ❤
That is sweet. Cherish your parents and the way they raised you to love our Lord and Savior. I'm glad you got to see that together!!😊
Yes it was amazing here in Ohio.
I was thinking about your upcoming baby, Corie, and his future name. Since his mom and auntie are twin sisters, and his cousin's name is Ira, what about Ezra? Ira and Ezra. Ezra Matthew, a nod to his Grampy. 😊 The amazing day will be here soon!
My mom's 94 and said she saw 1 in the 1930s.
What’s Iras middle name though could be Ira Matthew!!
Seeing all yall sitting in the living room eating supper brought back memories of my childhood. On Sunday evenings, my folks & I would all sit in the living room, eat supper & watch The Wonderful World of Disney.
That brings back memories of my family too. We ate at my grandparents Sunday evening and watched Walt Disney and Marlin Perkins Wild Kingdom. Good times😊
And Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom!
Bonanza.
Wow, that comment just unlocked a core memory of mine ❤
Yep, here too . Funny. We thought Disney was so wholesome back then , to learn te evil truth. 😈
I wish I was part of this family. 💛 So much love and respect and warmth for each other. My family is cold and distant with one and other. Y’all really are blessed.💛
Hugs.
Yes, I agree. Respect, love, and care. You can rely on them. My mom was born in Mousie, Kentucky. She could cook like no other. So there was some kind of upbringing from there. We live in Ohio now. Mom passed in 96, dad in 78 when I was 12. You all have a blessed life.
❤️❤️❤️
Pray for the discernment of the Holy Spirit to change the family dynamic as best you can; being a light for Jesus can bring about much change. God bless you, and may the Lord provide your family with His grace and mercy.
6 kids in my family. I get along with 2 of my 3 brothers and neither of my 2 sisters. Pretty messed up. But in my own defense, 5 of us agree that my older sister is a certified sociopath. She abused mom physically, emotionally and psychologically including stealing her life savings. I wish I was in Appalachia.
God bless you in your wonderful new home. May you all enjoy many years of happiness together in it.❤
Corey, here’s a trick I learned in my early housekeeping days: if you add a teaspoon of powdered milk to your heavy whipping cream before you mix it up, the whipped cream will stabilize and not deflate in the fridge if you have to make it ahead of time before serving. It also works to stabilize frosting on a cake when you use cream. Blessings from Yosemite, California.
So good of you to look after your Dad and sister, Corie, while Tipper was away. I think the nurturing mother instinct is already showing itself. You are good to your family and they are good to you. I love how you are so close and do things as a family. You are greatly blessed and highly favored!
Your videos lower my blood pressure. I found you from watching your mom's channel. God Bless!
Austin has his own Dad chair now and baby! We appreciate you, God bless you all you are strong and wonderful and a blessing to us all.
🎵🎶🎵 Love the music!! 🎵🎶🎵
Glad Granny is progressing. Love your updates and you sharing what viewers have shared with you. Take care.
Sweet of you to think of everyone Corie. Time has passed and everyone’s home in Wilson hollow. God is good🌻💕🌻
❤️
I fully agree it lifts my spirits so much
Your dinner looked delicious. It was so sweet of you to make extra to share with your family. They genuinely appreciated it. ❤
Owe I love your home and seeing your family together eating and seeing little IRA and hearing that rain sounded so great love all of you❤️ Shelby
Enjoyed this very much🥰Nice that you are able to get your house put together before your sweet baby arrives. The peacefulness of your home is such a blessing. Prayers continue for you all and thank you all again for such enjoyable channels! God Bless🙏🏻
That’s really cool! I have friends that saw different variations of the eclipse. But here in Florida it just got a little darker like cloudy and that’s it. Nothing exciting. Glad you got to see something more exciting than us.
It is so great to see your new home coming together 😀
All of the food looked amazing! What a nice first supper!
Thank you for sharing 🙂
God bless you and your family!
You were right, Corie! I could not believe either that the last solar eclipse was in 2017! It seemed like it was like in 2020! Loved the peppy music you played during the video. Austin, you did a great job hanging all those pictures and cutting all that grass. It was really funny watching you on the lawn mower in fast forward mode. I loved hearing Lil’ Bit’s crying and baby sounds.
The house is coming along. It's looking very nice. The cake looked so yummy.
Congratulations on the first supper in Y'all new house, Strawberry shortcake the best Spring time dessert, God Bless Y'all and Many More Blessings To Come.
You could say ‘your new house’.
@@sueroork8452 Yes I should have, but being from West Tennessee my Southern slang gets the better of me.
Seeing you all together like that is so heartwarming, those two little boys are going to have such a beautiful childhood with 5 adults who truly love them and each other, blessings to you all ❤
Corie and Austin you are such a great couple. Your son will be so lucky to be born into such a loving family. It so exciting to see how you are settling into the new house and getting ready for your new addition. ❤
Awe, thank you 😊
Thanks for letting us hang out with you all. It’s nice to just see the family together doing regular things and enjoying each other’s company. Be well & take care.
I’m in Asheville I was bummed I didn’t get to see anything it was just cloudy for us. I’m glad u got a peek.
Congratulations, kids!
Thanks for taking us along cooking supper! I wish you and your family many more times together! Prayers for Granny!
Thanks Corie!
Loved, loved, loved this video. It was power packed and loved the background music. Nice to see little Ira. God bless you all.
Glad you enjoyed it! 😁
Your meal looked delicious! Love the colors and decor in your new house. It’s very kind of you to cook for your family while your mom is taking care of granny❤
Strawberry shortcake is one of the great pleasures in life! 🍓🍰😋❤
Great old time music in the background!!
Here's a tip I'll share with you on the yarn issue. Now I have hundreds of cakes of yarn! No joke. I have a large wooden chest I keep it in and a bunch of totes too lol! I'm an unrecovering yarnaholic! Anyway, I got a yarn winder you can use to make cakes out of your yarn which also makes them easier to store. If you don't have much left from a skein, you can choose what colors to tie together and make what is called a Magic Cake. I use those yarn scraps to make what they call a 'scrapghan'. You can make a blanket out of those that's so pretty and use them for throws. You can also crochet those scraps into solid granny squares that store easily and once you have enough you can make blankets, bags, hats, vests and all sorts of things. Even if you only have a few minutes to crochet, you can still make a lot to use up later. Crocheting in my happy place. 😁
Love how your house decorations! So sweet of you to make your family supper, Corie. Praise God Granny is doing well now. :)
Aww, Baby Ira’s head is so cute!
God bless y’all!
Your house looks great with all the hard work you have all put into it.
Thank you!
The strawberry dessert looked so good.
I wish everyone could feel the peace of a gentle rain in the Appalachian woods just once in their life. I know you guys know what I mean. Sending love from West "by God" Virginia.
Beautiful yard and home Corie and Austin . Thank you for sharing have a blessed weekend stay safe.
Lovely day in the life video....thanks for sharing these sweet moments!🙂
Corie, I've been doing some of the same regarding downsizing here lately! It feels so good to be free from things I no longer want or need. Someone will be excited to find my stuff at the thrift store!❤ Your yarn looks so nice on the shelf! Beautiful colors!
Corie, Austin takes such good care of you. You found a good man. Your artwork looks so good on the walls!
Another great video of your daily lives. I like the background music on the areas where you speed up the video during certain sections. Life in Appalachia seems so peaceful and calm and away from the hustle & bustle of the world. Hugs!
Thank you for allowing us to see the back of Ira's head. I know you have to protect him, but could you let us know some of the particulars( without showing him) such as, was the delivery what you expected? How much did he weigh? How long was he? How long you were in labor? If all that is too much, or too personal, please forgive me. I was just curious!😊
Me & my daughter both crochet so we've always got a stash espy of leftovers. I keep the balls os leftovers in a basket by the chair & tv to work up into lap blankets to take to nursing homes etc. nothing wasted
God bless you all ❤❤❤
Thank you for letting us come to dinner- & for bringing Ira
Tip for using baking paper…crumple it up then line your dish..it lays in better. Love you guys! Blessings❤
Corie your supper looked very good, you cook just like your mom. It was so sweet of you inviting your dad and Katie to supper, it was good getting to see Katie's baby for just a minute, he is so precious. Austin is a great handyman. God Bless you all!! Love your videos.
Thank you so much! 😁
Just have to say I love those old green measuring cups, my Grandma has the same ones! So nostalgic :)
Good old Tupperware! I have a yellow set from the 80's 😊
🧡🧡🧡this video.🙏🏼Granny and all of you.
I love how Austin fits in so well with his new family, I think Dads looking forward to a little hunting and fishing time with him. I can see the baby saying hey cuz can you move over just a little your laying on my head. 😄
You are nesting!! Women go through that right before baby comes, it is very natural and I just think it’s cool that it’s called nesting like a mama bird getting ready for her hatchlings ❤❤❤. But honestly you will probably use the yarn in the future if you pack it away in a storage container out in the barn or attic!!!
Awe I loved this video! That's what it's all about!
The fast-forward of Austin mowing was so funny! I love it!
Totally stoked to see a glimpse of baby joy 🤗 and truly enjoyed watching and especially hearing the sounds of the water 😘 yall are surely Blessed ❤
I'm happy that you are settling into your new place how beautiful and blessed that is
Austin done a sure enough good job hangin all them things on the walls!!!!!!
Corie, I really like how you grouped the pictures (good job on hanging them straight, Austin!). That supper looked so yummy and healthy. Congrats on getting settled in to your new home! Much love from SC, Jane ❤️ 🙏 It's so sweet to hear Ira joining the conversation in the background!😊
Corie ... you have all the same color skeins of yarn I do, right now I'm crocheting a king sized blanket that's called "fisherman" Thick and Quick yarn! I love all your color choices, paint, etc. You're just such A godly young woman, I'm 65 and love watching your life, thanks for sharing it with me! I also LOVE HOW YOU LOVE the Lord!!!
Beautiful video and day! Peaceful. ❤️Yummy supper too! Thank you for sharing.
Congratulations on your new home! Everything is coming together. May you have many happy years there. The shortcake looked delicious! Here's a tip for getting parchment paper to conform to the shape of your pan: Cut the length you need. Crumple it into a loose ball. Run water over the paper. Squeeze out all the water. The damp paper will conform to the shape of your pan. Do you make comfrey salve?
Binks would love to play with those rolls of yarn 🐈 😆💯
Enjoyed thanks
Your kitchen counters are beautiful.
Thank you so much 😊
Thank you again for all your homey family videos! God bless!
“I’ll find a way to get it down” - try real hard Austin. 😂
😂
Ending was so peaceful, thank you.
Awesome video Corie and your supper look so delicious and your shortcake to.I was happy too see Katie and the baby.God bless y'all.
Those chives are pretty 😍
Corie - I can tell you follow The Minimal Mom when you talked about which yarn you could let go of and buy again if you needed it. I love her, very helpful ideas! Also, it was nice to see a little bald head 🥰. Katie - you are doing a fantastic job and Corie - you’re getting your practice in before your baby comes. Very nice video today, peaceful. 😊
That was great unpacking and organizing your yarn🙃 very impressed with the fit👌🏼
This is such an exciting time for you and Austin. I miss those days of making a home and raising kids.
Down here in Mississippi those baskets sell for 15.00
I live in Indiana, and it got dark and windy. It was very COOL 😊 Love the Eclipse 😊
Great content thank you for sharing ❤️
How about the name Ezra for your baby? It’s a beautiful name.
"...billions of books, it will not come crumbling down." He sounds so much like my hubby about my book collection. Every book is entirely necessary. ;)
No book left behind 🤣
😂 Exactly! ((fist bump))
From looking at your yarn you like earth tones , I also like earth tones..
I just recently made that same strawberry shortcake recipe! definitely a keeper
I am loving the countertops!!!
We saw the eclipse in all its glory. God (and His creation) is wonderous. Enjoyed decorating the house with you. Your food looks so good. Baby Ira is growing!
Great place to have the first dinner ❤
Congratulations 🎉 on the 🏠 home❤
27:59 Where did you guys get the old school lawn chair ? Is there a place that you can still get them ? That takes me back to my 1970's childhood .

So happy for you and Austin in your new home. Supper looks great. Corie you are your mamas daughter❤️

I am watching this now. I’m going to make this recipe this week, if not today… look delicious. Thanks for linking the recipe. I bought your mom’s cookbook awhile ago. Love it. R U ladies going to do a cookbook too?
It would be fun to do a cookbook someday 😁
Aw just a peak of Ira,love it❤👍
This video helped me decompress from a stressful day. Thank you!❤
I'm so glad! 😁
Great video, Corey! Now I’m going to have to make strawberry shortcake this weekend ❤ Helpful hint, my mom taught me before refrigerating the strawberries, use you can use the back of a spoon to mash them just a little and it adds a little juice that looks pretty running through the cake. 🍓
Y’all amaze me with attaching things to the wall. I’m not one who likes a lot of holes. Lol
Such a beautiful family❤❤
Do you ever eat around a table? I guess I don’t remember seeing one. How wonderful to host your family for dinner!
Dig the music! :)
I really enjoyed the video. Excellent picture hanging. Normally, I have about 5 holes in the wall, and the picture is still not straight.
Awww love this video! We got to see about the same amount of the eclipse here in Childersburg as ya'll saw. Looks a little lonely without Tipper but love the way you are cooking for all Corie when you can. Katie have to say Little Bits has the cutest back of head I have ever seen. ☺
Gray video! Your supper looked delicious.
Excellent videography. Well done.
😊
Your home is looking great. Austin is quite a hand at hanging those pictures. Have a great weekend. TeresaSue
Looks delicious 😋
Your supper looks delicious. Isn't it amazing what our Savior lets us enjoy in this world?
❤️
We live In Russellville, AR. We were ground zero for the eclipse. Our town had every US state represented plus 30 different countries. It was pretty cool!😎Regina
Corie and Austin you have a lovely home to bring your baby boy home to.
Praying and Blessed! 🤗🙏💕🏠👣
