Omg, Rob's ranking was the highlight of the video for me. It has no visible coherent order but he is so confident and serious when explaining it! I think you should have a wrap-up with him where you explain what the book is about and then he ranks the covers for how well they convey the contents of the book.
My confidence this weekend is soaring! First you include me in your booktok video, you enjoy the book, and then Rob ranks it number 1 in the wrap up video….Ok I know it’s just based on the cover 😂 but seriously your content always brings me such joy and it’s been such a serotonin boost to play a role in it this weekend. First time here! Enjoyed this :) Love Rob's 'direct' approach and comments - would love Rob as a food critic! 😅
I also gave hmrc a 3, then decided to read the second one anyway and ended up giving it a 4, I think the second one did a better job at balancing the serious parts with the need to suspend your disbelief and also introduced a couple of new perspectives which were super interesting to read from. It's also very long but I read it in about 3 days which is really unusual for me, it just flew by

I remember reading 2 Lydia Millet books and loving them, but I cannot tell you what happened in either one 😂 Her writing has this strange amnesia effect.
I usually don't read the synopses of the Wayward Children series books as they come out, so I had no idea Nancy was back. I am RUNNING to get this installment now.
I don’t want to spoil by saying who is/isn’t in the book, but the main character in this one is *Antsy*, not Nancy, just a heads up if that makes a difference for you 🙂

I liked Salt Slow so much better then Our Wives haha But my 5 stars were The Great Awake (I think it works best if you have personal experience with insomnia, preferably one that lasts for at least couple of months - I personally related to that short story because of my past history with insomnia) and Smack.
